Some of our favorite Korean actors are all set to have their much-awaited return on the big screen. Aside from their outstanding performances on the small screen, these Korean luminaries are about to hype more viewers with their upcoming films.
Kang Ha Neul
"When the Camellia Blooms" actor Kang Ha Neul will be meeting the viewers with two upcoming films this year.
First, "Story of You and the Rain," it is a youth movie that will tell the story about a man and a woman who pass through each other's lives in the process of waiting and meeting. Kang Ha Neul and Chun Woo Hee will be the main leads for this movie.
For his second film, "The Pirates Goblin: Flag," Kang Ha Neul will be playing the role of a leader of righteous outlaws who unintentionally landed on a pirate ship and displays his lively performance.
Kang Haneul will be returning on the big screen after three years. "Midnight Runners" and "Forgotten" were his latest movies.
Lee Dong Wook
As one of the active actors in doing projects on the small screen. Lee Dong Wook will again be appearing on the silver screen with the movie "Single in Seoul," a romantic-comedy film that will revolve around a famous influencer who is happy to be single, and an elite editor of a publishing company writing and producing a book that talks about the life of a single.
Lee Dong Wook will be portraying the character of Young Ho, a lecturer who turned out to be a social media influencer after posting articles about the positive effect of not being in a relationship.
Joining him in the movie is "Chicago Typewriter" Im Soo Jung, who is an outstanding editor but is a fool when it comes to love.
This will be Lee Dong Wook's first movie after 11 years.
Kim Woo Bin
The "Uncontrollably Fond" star Kim Woo Bin is all set to make his return on the big screen after hiatus due to health issues. His much-awaited comeback project will be helmed by director Choi Dong Hoon, with a movie title "Alien." This will mark his first movie project after five years with the movie "Master."
"Alien" is a sci-fi film about people and aliens in South Korea. It is expected to be a blockbuster hit. Kim Woo Bin will be working with Ryu Jun Yeol, Kim Tae Ri, Jo Woo Jin, Yum Jung Ah, So Ji Sub, and Yoo Jae Myung for this project.
Lee Min Jung

"Once Again" actress Lee Min Jung is about to make her comeback with an exciting movie after nine years. Her last film was in 2012 with "Wonderful Radio."
Lee Min Jung will be returning on the big screen with the movie project "The Christmas Gift" alongside actors Kwon Sang Woo and Oh Jung See. She is set to play the role of Soo Hyun, Park Kang's ex-lover who unexpectedly appears in his life again.
Im Si Wan
After receiving a lot of love from his romance drama "Run-On," Im Si Wan will be dominating the big screen with two upcoming movies.

First on his list is "Boston 1947," said to be his second project since he was discharged from the military in 2019 following "Strangers from Hell."
"Boston 1947" is about the inspiring story of the Korean athletes who ran the 1947 Boston International Marathon.
Second is "Emergency Declaration." This is the first Korean aviation disaster film about a plane that announced an emergency landing in the middle of an unexpected disaster. His character will be revealed soon, meanwhile, he will become a passenger who boarded the plane alone.
Joining him throughout this amazing movie are actors, Song Kang Ho, Lee Byung Hun, Jeon Do Yeon, Kim Nam Gil, Kim So Jin, and Park Hae Joon.
Jung Kyung Ho
With his back to back projects, Jung Kyung Ho is indeed one of the busiest actors in the Korean entertainment. He is currently preparing for "Hospital Playlist Season 2."
Apart from the series, Kyung Ho will greet the audiences through his forthcoming movie "Daemuga: Sorrow and Joy." The story will talk about the three shamans fighting with their skills to seize the superior. He will be working with actor Park Sung Woong. This marks Jung Kyung Ho's return on the big screen after his movie projects "Manhole" in 2014 and "Amor" in 2015.
