"The Uncanny Counter" actor Jo Byeong Gyu is accused of being a bully at school.
Previously, one online user posted on an online community claiming that he is a victim of actor Jo Byeong Gyu's bullying at school. The online user claimed that he knew the actor at a school in New Zealand when where he went to study English.
How the Victim Claimed that he was Bullied by Jo Byeong Gyu
The user shared that one day, there was a new student present in school and that kid was Jo Byeong Gyu. He was about to leave class when he was approached by Jo Byeong Gyu and started talking to him. He described Jo Byeong Gyu as wearing tight pants with dyed hair and was talking to him rudely like he was picking a fight. The said victim claimed that he didn't say anything and just walked away. However, the incident made him feel bad.
The victim also shared that during lunchtime, he was approached by two Korean kids with mean faces that he has never even met before. They asked him to follow them, and when he did, he was surprised when all of a sudden he was surrounded by 30 people swearing at him! He was really in a bad place and got so angry that he filed a report to the Korean international student management office and talked to the manager there.
The victim's parents were informed about the incident and even the landlady where he stays knew about it as well. Both the victim and Jo Byeong Gyu were called in to have a talk but he was talking rudely to the manager. It ended with the manager giving a warning to Jo Byeong Gyu that if this incident happens again, they will take legal actions according to the school policy and asked them both to make peace and get along.
The victim ended his statement by sharing that Jo Byeong Gyu wasn't physically violent but he was very abusive verbally. He said that he wants the rising actor to admit his faults and issue an apology.

Jo Byeong Gyu's Agency Issues Response
HB Entertainment, Jo Byeong Gyu's agency issued their response to the alleged bullying. Their statement follows:
"Hello, this is HB Entertainment.
This is our response to the malicious rumors and false information spreading about our artist, Jo Byeong Gyu.
We have asked to take legal action against the person who has been spreading these false rumors and malicious comments about Jo Byeong Gyu in an online community. The agency has already made steps and officially asked the police to investigate the incident and as a result, an investigation into the relevant case has started.
The agency will not hold back at anything when it comes to criminal behavior such as mass-producing and spreading malicious rumors most especially if it involves their actors. HB Entertainment will continue to do its best to protect the right of its artists.
