Episode 5: Distraction is the Key to Win Against the Enemy
After burning the Babel's drug warehouse, Vincenzo and Hong Cha Young, who now represent the Jipuragi Law Firm, used the best cards they have, including the Babel Group subsidiary, Babel Chemicals. They made an alliance with the victim's families. The two believe that the lawyer (So Hyeon-u), who handles the case of the families, is a dodgy lawyer that represents Babel more than the victims.
When Hong Cha Young and Vincenzo collected all the evidence against the greedy attorney, they were able to persuade the families to be on their side. Jang Jun Woo also found out that his sunbae Hong Cha Young is involved in setting the warehouse on flames.
In this episode, Jang Jun Woo tells Hong Cha Young that he has been promoted as partner in Wusang. He asked if she can give him a small celebration, so she offers to buy him dinner. It turned out to be in a different way, though, as Vincenzo and Jang Jun Woo comically bickered on who can handle spicy food better, mentioning that Thai pepper has an Scoville Scale of 100,000 and Red Savina Habanero has an Scoville scale of 350,000 to 577,000.
In the end, both of them ended up drinking milk after finishing a bowl of spicy noodles.
Fast forward to the first trial, Vincenzo and Hong Cha Young made a grand entrance by driving a sleek blue Lamborghini in front of the courthouse. The journalists were blown away by the two lawyers as they made the courthouse their own runway.
Episode 5 concluded with Hong Cha Young throwing a confident smirk to Choi Myung-hee (Kim Yeo Jin) and the rest of the Wusang legal team, who came in defense of the Babel Group.
Episode 6: Babel Group Starts to Take Revenge
A more intense episode gave the viewers an unexpected twist. With the help of the tenants of the Geumga Plaza, they were able to start chaos to postpone the trial. With their slapstick comedy and natural acting inside the court, Hong Cha Young and Vincenzo were able to defeat the opposing legal team.
But this was just the start of the war. Choi Myung Hee and Han Seung-yeok (Han Chul-jo), Wusang's boss, finally learned who the real chairman of the Babel Group is, which prompted them to come up with a strategy to defeat Vincenzo and Hong Cha Young.
Meanwhile, Jang Jun Woo threatened Vincenzo to quit this battle because he doesn't want Hong Cha Young to end up "six feet under."
The second trial has arrived and the Babel Group legal team is now confident to end up triumphant after abetting misdeameanor - not until Hong Cha Young announced she has a surprise witness, making all heads turn towards the door. As the wooden door opened, Vincenzo Cassano emerged.
Jang Jun Woo, Choi Myung Hee, and the Babel Group team were evidently shocked. The episode ended with Vincenzo's smirk, hinting that he and Hong Cha Young are about to put on another show.
For the next week's episodes, more explosive events are about to unfold as the Babel Group and Jipuragi Law Firm's strife intensifies.
