"'Police Academy" is a romantic-comedy-themed drama that will revolve its story around a young 19-year-old police academy student so will undergo a journey of self-realization towards his goals and love after meeting his professors and friends in the prestigious academy. This is considered the very first time that a drama takes place at the prestigious police academy of Korea.
f(x)'s Krystal's Casting Offer
On March 9, there are reports from media outlets announcing that Krystal received a casting offer to star in the upcoming KBS drama "Police Academy". To this, H&Entertainment, Krystal's label responded to clarify the news. They stated that The singer and actress indeed received a casting offer from KBS's drama "'Police Academy" and she is currently considering the offer.
Krystal will possibly star as the girl who always dreamed of being a police officer ever since she was a little girl. Her name is Oh Kang Hee, she is a unique little girl, while her friends learned ballet, she would prefer to take judo classes and learn how to fight. She is somehow like a tomboy.
If Krystal decides to accept the casting offer in "Police Academy," she will transform from being the soldier in "Search" to a police officer in "Police Academy". As of the moment, the drama's cast includes B1A4's Jinyoung and Cha Tae Hyun and Lee Jong Hyuk.

Krystal's Humble Beginnings in the Entertainment Industry
Chrystal Soo Jung professionally known as Krystal, Krystal Jung was born on October 24, 1994. She is a Korean-American singer and actress who is currently based in South Korea. The 26-year-old celebrity started her career in the entertainment industry as a member of the South Korean girl group f(x) and has further participated in SM Entertainment's project group SM the Ballad. Aside from being a Kpop star, Krystal also showcased her acting skills in various South Korean drama series namely: "The Heirs" (2013), "My Lovely Girl" (2014), "Prison Playbook" (2017), "The Bride of Habaek" (2017), and "Player" (2018).
She was born Chrystal Soo Jung in America where her family migrated from South Korea during the 1980s. While she and her family went to South Korea for a vacation way back early 2000's, Krystal and her sister Jessica Jung were spotted by talent agency S.M. Entertainment. Krystal was only five years old at that time. S.M. Entertainment offered Krystal as well as her sister singing and dancing classes to professionally train them for a music career.
However, the said offer was declined by Krystal's parents who said that she was too young to join. So they decided to let the older sister join the agency first. Jessica Jung (Krystal's sister) later debuted as a member of the girl group Girls' Generation. They have since then appeared together in numerous events.
Krystal eventually decided to leave her long-time agency, SM Entertainment and transferred to H&Entertainment, home of talented stars Joo Ji Hoon, Jung Ryeo Won, and more.
