KBS has unveiled the debut of its much-awaited drama "Imitation." In a recent report, the network announced through Hankook Ilbo that the upcoming series is set to air on May 7.
Directed by Han Hyun-Hee, the forthcoming KBS drama is based on a webtoon of the same name written by Kyung-ran Park.
"Imitation" Cast and Synopsis
This depicts the story of the up-and-coming idols, Tea Party, and its three members Lee Ma Ha played by "Parasite" actress Jung Ji-So, Ri-A, portrayed by Kim Minseo and Hyun Ji played by Lim Na Young.
The series follows the girl group's adventure as they faced challenges to become successful in the entertainment scene.
Unfortunately, not every member gained equal attention from the public after Ma-Ha became the most famous member due to her uncanny resemblance to the popular singer Ri-Ma, played by Park Ji-Yeon.
Now, there's no stopping Tea Party from reaching stardom following their stint in a reality TV program.
Alongside the three-member girl group, they met the already famous idols, Shax.
Things go south after Lee Jun-Young's character Kwon Ryeok, who is a member of the boy band, dislikes Ma-Ha.
Moreover, other members of Shax includes Ateez's Choi Jong-ho, Park Seong-hwa, and Jeong Yun-ho
