Actress Jang Yu Bin has been confirmed to join the cast of SBS' new morning drama, "Amor Fati," as Jang Seo-woo.
The young actress will be joining the weekly morning series "Amor Fati," which tells the story of healing and moving on - following people who struggle to bounce back after falling at the lowest points in their life.
It follows Do Yeon-Hee, to be played by actress Choi Jung-Yoon, the daughter-in-law of a chaebol family suffering from an unfaithful husband. She later meets Han Jae-kyeong, to be portrayed by actor Ahn Jae-Mo, a former professional golfer who gives up everything to support his wife's studies abroad and raises their son alone.
When his wife returns, she asks Jae-kyeong for a divorce. With the unfortunate circumstances in their respective lives, and the unlikely meeting between the two, will they find the healing they need?
In "Amor Fati," Jang Yu Bin will be playing Jang Seo-woo, the daughter and friend to Yeon-hee, born to the chaebol family that runs the Rara Group of companies. Their tandem has already given off on-screen chemistry that has audiences waiting to see how their characters will work together in the series.
Jang Yu Bin, as Jang Seo-woo, is a character who is not only straightforward and optimistic but also full of conviction in supporting her mother despite being the granddaughter of a chaebol family herself.
Furthermore, the twists and turns that Jang Seo-woo will also experience over the course of the series, living the life of the rich and having to support her mother, will be among the main storylines to follow in "Amor Fati."
Written by Nam Sun-hye and directed by Bae Tae-Sub, "Amor Fati" will premiere on April 12, Monday, at 8:35 AM KST. It will take over the previous weekday 8:40 AM timeslot occupied by the romance drama series "Phoenix 2020."
