In his 2020 press conference in the Philippines, the "Snowdrop" actor shared his thoughts about being dubbed as the next "Hallyu" star.
As we all know, being referred to as a Hallyu star means you made it big in the entertainment industry and has played a big part in film, drama, music, and more.
At the time, he mentioned to not consider himself a Hallyu star. However, he is "grateful" that he gets to do something that he is passionate about.
"You know, I am an actor, and I'm just grateful and glad that I get to do that. It is also very embarrassing for me to compare myself to other actors and say why I am better than them. So, this is a very embarrassing question," he explained in a previous interview.

Despite his status in the industry, the "A Piece of Your Mind" star says that he likes to spend his time at home.

He mentioned Yoo Ji Ho from One Spring Night adding, "it was really hard for me to personify that character.
