Road to Stardom
In 2013, then 23-year-old Seo Ye Ji made her acting debut on tvN's "Potato Star" and a series of supporting roles in the 2015 movie "The Throne," "Circle of Atonement," and "Seondal: The Man Who Sells the River."
However, unlike other celebrities, Seo Ye Ji's plan was not to become an actress; in fact, she turned down her agency a couple of times but was convinced by the company's CEO.

At the time, she just returned from Spain, where she was scheduled to study orthodontic surgery. After graduating, she came back to Korea to try her luck.

Working with Kim Soo Hyun and G-Dragon
The popular tvN drama is not her first time working alongside Kim Soo-Hyun.
In a report, the duo appeared in a 2015 pudding dessert commercial where Seo Ye Ji portrayed an innocent and timid girl-next-door.
Aside from the "You Who Came from the Stars" actor, the 31-year-old actress has worked with the K-pop icon, BIGBANG.
The actress appeared in the boy band's music video, titled "Let's Not Fall In Love."
Upcoming Projects
2021 will be quite a busy year for Seo Ye Ji since she is set to return to the big screen with her upcoming thriller movie "Tomorrow's Memories" opposite Kim Kang Woo.
In addition, the actress also confirmed to lead the OCN drama "Island," where she'll possibly work alongside Kim Nam Gil and Cha Eun Woo.
