‘Vincenzo’ Writer & Director Reveal the Reason behind the Drama's One-Week Hiatus

Many viewers were disappointed upon learning that "Vincenzo" wouldn't meet the audiences last weekend for production reasons.

"Vincenzo" Filming to Wrap up on April 23

On April 21, the writer and director of "Vincenzo" revealed the real reason behind the one-week postponement.

According to a media report, the scheduled filming for "Vincenzo" will wrap up on April 23. News stated that writer Park Jae Bum and director Kim Hee Won made changes in the script to make the drama remarkable and maintain its quality.

The final script for episode 20 was sequentially delivered to the actors and officials on April 17, and is already gearing up for filming "Vincenzo" finale. As for the highly-anticipated ending of the drama, the production issued an order to prevent its leakage even before it airs on May 2.

The cast and production team are in full swing to bring the best and epic scenes for one last time. The official staff of "Vincenzo" decided to finish filming on April 23 in case there will still be changes and so they can immediately work on it ahead of its finale.

After the last day of shoot, the crew is set to prepare for the post production to finish editing all the remaining scenes before the last broadcast.

Originally, "Vincenzo" was scheduled to finish the filming last week when they had their one-week hiatus. But since the final script for episode 20 was delayed, the filming schedule was also extended for one week, resulting to halt the drama broadcast last April 17 and 18, and aired a special "Vincenzo" episode instead.

The creatives behind the blockbuster drama "Vincenzo" confessed that they had a hard time choosing the right plot for the ending of the series.

Since the drama has been receiving lots of love and support from the international audiences, writer Park Jae Bum and director Kim Hee Won teamed up once again to make sure that they will be producing the right and satisfying for the viewers. Even themselves, who have been in the industry for years, struggled to decide on how to end the script for their beautiful masterpiece.
