The star-studded sci-fi movie "Alien" has finally wrapped up filming and is ready to make it on the big screen anytime soon this 2021.
"Alien" is Director Choi Dong Hoon's Movie Comeback Project
The writer and director of the film, Choi Dong Hoon, is making a huge leap in the filming industry through his distinctive story concept and unique directing. Recently, the cast and crew of the much-awaited movie "Alien" successfully completed their 13-month shooting journey for part 1 and part 2.
It has been said that the production for "Alien" started last March 29, 2020, and finished last April 19, 2021. The movie will start its story during the Goryeo Dynasty, and a time gate that connects the past and the present appears. An ancient tribe from the Goryeo Dynasty, Taoist, will meet the people from the present while in search of the legendary sword.
After the movie was publicized a year ago, "Alien" made lots of headlines on the online community. Plus, what makes it more prominent is because of director Choi Dong Hoon. The said film is Choi Dong Hoon's comeback project and its preeminent cast lineup since the pre-production stage.
The upcoming movie will be having part 1 and part 2, and the director used his new method in dividing his techniques in directing in order to show an organized sequence.
Kim Woo Bin, Kim Tae Ri, Ryu Jun Yeol, So Ji Sub, & Choi Dong Hoon Expressed Their Thoughts of Working Together
The creative and brilliant mind behind the project shared his experiences while doing the movie. According to him, from the actors and production crews, they were able to finish filming in 387 days or almost 13 months. And now that they already concluded the shooting, Choi Dong Hoon shared that it gave him so much happiness and satisfaction.
He also added, "I am grateful to the actors for their determination and passion to stay with me along the way. It's already been more than three years since I started planning with the concept of this movie (Alien). And I can't wait to share the magnificent and interesting work to a wider audience."
Meanwhile, it was not just Choi Dong Hoon who expressed his thoughts about the film. The original cast, namely Kim Woo Bin, Kim Tae Ri, and Ryu Jun Yeol, also genuinely shared their excitement for the movie project.

"Uncontrollably Fond" actor Kim Woo Bin said, "I have never filmed for a long time before, so I really enjoy and appreciate working with all the staff." He also added, "I feel sorry now that we have to part ways already since the shoot had ended. But I am excited to finally meet the viewers again with my new upcoming movie."
"Reply 1988" actor Ryu Jun Yeol confessed, "For the past year, I have been working nonstop. And filming this movie gave me lots of fun, and I hope the viewers will also feel the same happiness we felt when watching 'Alien.'"

"Space Sweepers" actress Kim Tae Ri also said that there were lots of happy moments during their shoot. And even though she has been tired of working with other projects, she gained energy from the cast and crew of the movie.
Actor So Ji Sub, who is also part of the cast, shared that all the staff and actors worked really hard for the project, and he was fulfilled knowing that they ended their journey happily and safely.
