There is no denying that Ji Chang Wook has a body to die for. This fact is in full display on whatever role he chose to take on, ever since his breakthrough role in the acting world in "Empress KI" as Toghon Temur and all the subsequent dramas where he played a hero, such as in "Healer" and "K2."
Even if he is not working on a thriller but instead part of romantic comedies such as "Suspicious Partner" and "Lovestruck in the City," fans can see how chiseled his body is.
Ji Chang Wook Workout Routine 2021: Actor Gets Fit Without the Gym
Ji Chang Wook worked hard to have that kind of body and level of fitness though, but interestingly, not at the gym.
According to Metro Style, the actor does not adhere to a strict workout routine as most fit actors do. He does not slave away in his free hours at the gym to get a six-pack.
Instead, he moves a lot. He achieves his great body by playing soccer. In fact, one tidbit about the actor is that he always dreamt of being a professional soccer player, but he could not pursue it because his mom did not want to.

He instead, became an actor, but never forgot his first love by playing the sport three to four times a week with FC Men, which is an all-star sub-unit of the South Korean football club Suwon Bluewings. Being the team's striker, one can say he got the best of both worlds - being an actor which his mom approves of and playing soccer for a legitimate team.
Ji Chang Wook Did His Stunts in "K2" Without a Double
His love for moving around certainly came in handy when he landed his role at the K-drama, "K2."
In this drama, he played Kim Je-Ha, an ex-military operative framed for the murder of his own lover. He has to engage in so many fight scenes and stunts here that he had to train a lot more than usual.
It must be noted that he did his stunts on his own, instead of having a double to aid him, as other actors would request.
It can be remembered though that in a press conference, he revealed that it is for this project that he trained super hard, not just to look fit, but to also know martial arts. He said that his role of being a former mercenary requires him to look very buff.
The actor added (might be a joke, but who knows) that his experience at "K2" made him "resolve" to never do another action drama anymore, ever.
Ji Chang Wook New Drama 2021: "The Sound of Magic"
If he truly decides to stay away from action dramas and thrillers, it is fine. He looks good even in other genres anyway. His latest project is reported to be "The Sound of Magic," a Netflix Original series. Netflix has announced this good news itself.
"The Sound of Magic" is reportedly a music fantasy drama. Ji Chang Wook is going to play a mysterious magician whose main desire is to just remain a child. His main co-stars are actress Choi Sung Eun ("Beyond Evil") and actor Hwang In Yeop.
