Song Kang and "Penthouse" Actress Han Ji Hyun proved that they are the industry's next big thing after winning the 2021 Brand Customer Loyalty Awards.
In the recently concluded ceremony, the Korean Customers Council held its annual celebration to recognize brands and artists that made a huge impact in society and pop culture.
For six consecutive years, Brand Customer Loyalty Awards, in collaboration with U.S. consulting firm Brand Keys, tallied the stars who brought the most influence.
"Most Influential Man 2021" Goes to Song Kang
With his impressive achievements and remarkable dramas, the Korean Customers Council selected Song Kang as the 2021 most influential man.
The 27-year-old recently gained attention with his impeccable transformation as a ballerino in "Navillera" alongside Park In Hwan.
The tvN drama, which just aired its season finale, showed Song Kang's acting prowess and dedication for his craft.
In a recent report, he mentioned nothing but heartfelt words to the cast and crew of "Navillera" and shared that he "learned a lot and had so much fun working with great seniors."
To recall, the actor took ballet lessons for five to six months before the filming starts. Moreover, he revealed why he chose to learn the dance, adding, "I tried ballet for the first time in my life in Navillera. Since I've never learned to dance before, I was worried and felt burdened about playing a ballerino in the beginning."
Aside from his latest project, Song Kang's notable dramas include Netflix's "Sweet Home" and "Love Alarm."

"Penthouse" Cast Han Ji Hyun Receives 'Most Influential New Actress 2021'
There's no denying that the high rating drama "Penthouse" is Han Ji Hyun's claim to fame with her breakthrough performance as Dan Tae and Soo Ryun's daughter, Joo Seok Kyung.
With only three years since her debut and slowly solidifying her name in the industry, the council named the 25-year-old celebrity as the most influential new actress in 2021.
Moreover, she also shared this achievement over her social media alongside a photo of her with the award.
"Thank you!! Thanks to so much love from you, #BrandCustomerLoyaltyGrand Prize #RookieGrand. I'll try harder and work harder. Thank you always. I was so nervous because it was my first time. Hehe)" Han Ji Hyun's Instagram caption reads.
Over the comment section, fans and "Penthouse" co-stars celebrated her win, including Choi Ye Bin, who portrayed Ha Eun Byul, wrote "Congratulations, baby," followed by a smiley emoji.
"Start-Up" Actor Kim Seon Ho Wins Two Major Awards
Aside from the duo, Kim Seon Ho won two awards at the 2021 Brand Customer Loyalty Awards.
The 34-year-old actor received the "Male Actor-Trend Icon" award as well as "Multi-Entertainer" in the male category.
The actor gained his popularity in the hit drama "Start-Up," together with Bae Suzy and Nam Joo Hyuk.
He portrayed the role of Han Ji-Pyeong, who was caught up in a love triangle between IT genius Nam Do San and Seo Dal Mi.
Apart from his notable dramas, Kim Seon-ho is on the road to become the newest CF king with his several endorsements, including clothing, health food, auto financing platforms, cosmetics, and more.
