Following the high viewership ratings and feedback from the audience, Korean drama "Taxi Driver" is gearing up for its season finale.
A new report cited that the final script for the S.B.S. evening drama has been completed and is currently filming between 14 and 15 episodes.
What You Need to Know about "Taxi Driver"
The thriller crime evening drama debuted last April 9 and is set to bid its farewell on May 29 with a total of 16 episodes.
Helmed by director Park Joon Woo and written by Oh Sang-Ho, "Taxi Driver" follows the story of Kim Do Ki, played by Lee Je Hoon, who works under the Rainbow Taxi company.
Interestingly, the company has a secret service that provides revenge to the victims who faced injustice, and the law wasn't able to protect.
There, a special group was formed by the Rainbow Taxi owner Jang Sung Chul (Kim Eui Sung) and Do Ki's assistant Choi Kyung Goo and Park Jin Eon, played by Jang Hyuk Jin and Bae Yoo Ram.
In addition, the team has an in-house hacker who infiltrates their target's system, which was run by the skilled I.T. Ahn Go Eun, portrayed by Pyo Ye Jin.
Unfortunately, a prosecutor named Kang Ha Na, played by Esom, investigates the case of Rainbow taxi after a handful of criminals went missing.
For the prosecutor, she condemns this behavior and believes that every crime is punishable by law.

"Taxi Driver" not only offers jaw-dropping action scenes and an impeccable storyline but also features a powerhouse cast.
Aside from Lee Jee Hoon, Esom starred in the 2018 drama "The Third Charm" and "Save Me 2" is one of the lead cast alongside "V.I.P." actress Pyo Ye Jin and "Arthdal Chronicles'" Kim Eui Sung.
Initially, APRIL's Naeun was set to portray the skilled hacker Ahn Go Eun but replaced by Pyo Ye Jin due to her bullying controversy.
