Is there going to be a "Vagabond" Season 2? While there is certainly a clamor of it, this remains to be seen or confirmed. However, there are several reasons why it could be continued for another season.
It's One of the Most-Praised Crime Thrillers
"Vagabond" is one of the most-praised crime thrillers offered by South Korea. This is a mean feat, considering how many great thrillers there had been. It was very fast-paced, and while there are romantic and comedic elements to it, they take a back seat to the spy stuff. The whole show was a thrilling ride for the viewers. Although the show stopped airing in 2019, many are still watching and rewatching it on Netflix.
At the same time, the whole ride could have felt confusing, especially towards the end. There were simply too many twists and too many villains. This makes a "Vagabond" season 2 makes sense.
Insiders Claimed It's Possible!
One more reason why we may see more of Lee Seung Gi and Suzy Bae is that there was an insider who reportedly said this. This insider is not from SBS TV, though, but only someone that Uniforumtz was able to get a hold of.
It's not only this insider that is saying this, though. A "Vagabond" staff earlier revealed that a season 2 might truly be in the cards. Lee Seung-Gi, who played Cha Dal-gun one claimed that the series certainly had more to tell. Naturally, these untold stories cannot be offered if a new season does not happen.

The stars have also revealed that they are willing to reprise their roles because of how well everyone bonded and worked together to finish the film. Suzy Bae even said that she learned a lot from the people she worked with.
If they are to get back on for the second season, it would no longer be hard to bring up their camaraderie once more.
"Vagabond" Season 1 Finale Was Full of Cliffhangers
The first season ended with so many questions unanswered. For example, no one knows those involved in the plane crash in which Cha Dal-Gun's nephew was boarded. At the same time, the season ended even before the romantic relationship of Cha Dal-Gun and Go Hae-Ri truly unfolded. If Season 2 is to happen and it tackled these two plots, the series would certainly be successful.
One can remember just how furious some of the fans were that "Vagabond" ended the way it did. Some said that it felt as if their time was wasted watching 16 whole episodes and ending up just confused by the purpose of the show.
Some said with that kind of ending, the show felt like a joke. The only way it would feel justified is if there is a Season 2 to explain certain unclear things.
The thing is, an insider claimed that the show was really created with the second season in mind. However, confirming a second 2 is more complicated than the showrunners thought it would be.
"We are reviewing the schedules of the actors, writers, and directors," a rep was quoted as saying.
