Amid the hype of his much-awaited drama "Penthouse 3," Kim Young Dae is confirmed to appear in another upcoming drama, "School 2021."
The 25-year-old actor is set to lead the new KBS2 show alongside fellow rising star WEi's Kim Yo Han.
The Kdrama "School 2021" is a sequel to the popular series "School 2017" and "Who Are You: School 2015" that featured some of today's leading stars, including Nam Joo Hyuk, Kim So Hyun, Yook Sung Jae, Han Joo Wan, and more.
Kim Young Dae Expressed How Grateful He is to be Part of "School 2021"
Following the confirmation of his forthcoming project, the model turned actor says that he is "grateful" and felt "wonderful" to appear as one of the lead cast in the Korean drama "School 2021."
In addition, Kim Young Dae also promised to do his best so "all the viewers can enjoy watching the traditional 'School' series."

"School 2021" Cast and Synopsis
The 25-year-old rising star is set to portray the hardworking student, Gong Ki Joon, who balances his work and school to make ends meet.
Seemingly, Kim Young Dae also spoke about his character's hardships and struggles, which was previously named Young Joo.
"Young Joo from 'School 2021' has a backstory and a pitiable side, so my heart went out to him. I want to experience Young Joo's anger, pain, and growth together," he explained as obtained by a South Korean outlet.

Aside from the "Cheat On Me, If You Can" actor, he will be working alongside WEi's Kim Yo Han, who will play as Joo Do Bin.
On the other hand, Jo Yi Hyun is still in talks to appear as the lead star, opposite the Kpop idol.
Last April 1, her agency, Artist Company, revealed that the "Metamorphosis" actress has received the offer but is currently reviewing the part.
The sequel of the popular youth drama will be directed by Kim Min Tae, whose famous works include the 2020 program "Cheat On Me, If You Can" and is slated to air this August with 16 episodes.
The 25-year-old actor made his debut in the 2017 web drama "Secret Crushes" as one of the guests.
He immediately captivated the viewer's attention with his impeccable skills in "I'll Go to You When the Weather is Nice" and "Extraordinary You" together with Kim Hye Yoon, Ro Woon, Lee Na Eun, and Jung Gun Joo.
Kim Young Dae on His Breakthrough Performance in "Penthouse"
However, Kim Young Dae's claim to fame is being one of the cast of the top-rating drama "The Penthouse," where he plays the role of Uhm Ki Joon and Lee Ji Ah's son, Joo Seok Hoon.
The said drama is also where he took home the Popularity Award at the 2020 KBS Drama Awards.
Currently, the 25-year-old actor is gearing for the highly anticipated Kdrama "Penthouse 3," which is scheduled to debut on June 4 every Friday night.
