BTS' "Butter" Receives Appreciation from Jung Il Woo

Seeing Korean celebrities supporting their homegrown artists is truly heartwarming.

Recently, phenomenal K-Pop boy group BTS have released their new English single, titled "Butter," which again broke new records in just hours after it was published.

But apart from the local and international fans, there are also celebrities who expressed their appreciation for the song.

On May 24, 33-year-old Korean actor Jung Il Woo surprised his fans and followers on Instagram by posting a short video with BTS' "Butter" as the background music. He filmed the video and made an interesting twist by doing some editing.

After he uploaded it on his Instagram account, his fans and ARMYs (BTS' fan club name) showed their support and complimented the handsome star in the comments section.

It may be a short clip but netizens reacted to it and felt grateful for Jung Il Woo as he openly shared his support to the Bangtan Boys.

Jung Il Woo's Drama "Bossam: Steal the Fate" Continues to Increase in Viewership Ratings

Following his 2020 series "Sweet Munchies," Jung Il Woo made a return to the small screen last May 1 (2021) with MBN's "Bossam: Steal the Fate." He portrays the character of Ba Woo, who's good at doing Bossam (traditional remarriage procedure where a widow is kidnapped).

He accidentally kidnaps Princess Soo Kyung (SNSD's Yuri), the widowed daughter of King Gwanghae (Kim Tae Woo).

Due to the drama's unique story concept, viewers are on the edge of their chairs to see forthcoming episodes week by week.

In fact, "Bossam: Steal the Fate" attains its new all-time high every week. The series airs every Saturday and Sunday at 9:40 p.m (KST) on MBN.

Since many are staying at home during these days, the ongoing drama keeps on attracting more viewers.

According to Korea's AGB Nielsen, "Bossam: Steal the Fate" Episode 7 and Episode 8 broke their previous rating records. Episode 7 was able to achieve an average rating of 5.8 percent nationwide and exceeded up to 7.7 percent during Episode 8, which aired last May 22 and 23.

This was also Jung Il Woo and SNSD Yuri's first drama collaboration but their overflowing chemistry onscreen is undeniably through the roof.
