"Voice 4" is literally around the corner and yet new developments are still happening. The latest one is that "Prison Playbook" actor Lee Kyu Hyung will be joining the already star-studded show, even though it's unclear yet what his role is going to be. Excited fans only have one wish - that hopefully, he's not the villain.

The last time fans saw the actor in a drama is on "Prison Playbook."

He played Han Yang, a Seoul University graduate who ended up in prison because he was taking illegal drugs. Because he no longer had access to drugs, the withdrawal hit him so hard that he developed a different personality when he became clean. But overall, his performance on the show was so endearing that it could not be so easily forgotten.

He's also a very versatile actor. He was also in "Hi, Bye Mama," but fans noted how different his roles were, and yet he was able to execute the two perfectly. Some said watching him on "Prison Playbook" made them look at him differently. It remains to be seen if he'll give the same jaw-dropping performance in "Voice 4".

As of now, it's not even announced what his role would be in "Voice 4." Since it's a relatively dark show, his character can either be an enigmatic protagonist or a crazy psycho or somewhere in between.

Meanwhile, "Voice 4" is certainly not stopping with all the teasers. It has so far dropped several already, and the latest one is as exciting as the others.

It starts with Derek Jo entering a crime site with Kang Kwon Joo's guidance, played by Lee Ha Na (who has reprised her role four times already.)

"I hear the victim's voice. Please hurry. There's no time," she could be heard saying.

In the next scene, Derek Jo can be seen on a security camera. Turns out someone is spying on him, and it is likely to be a villain, a potential murderer in a black raincoat. What makes it interesting is that this person is a female.

A glimpse of this new psycho is then shown, smiling creepily then laughing in a more horrific manner.

The teaser does not end here.

The next scene shows Derek Jo entering a room and finding a corpse in a black bag that is wrapped in glistening lights. This certainly placed him in a very somber mood and compelled him to say, "Whatever monster you are, I'll catch you."

"Voice," which aired its first season in 2017, is a drama revolving around an emergency call center that always finds itself trying to save someone from being killed. Because they can only rely on things they hear on the phone, their jobs can sometimes be very exciting. Good thing they have someone in the force that has a vital power - the uncanny ability to hear things that ordinary people cannot. Without her, saving people in the midst of danger just by identifying clues through a phone line could be really difficult.

Derek Jo is actually a new character. He's going to be played by Song Seung Heon. Some fans are anticipating some pretty good scenes between him and Kang Kwon Joo since he is not an ordinary detective. He is a unit leader at the Los Angeles Police Department who winds up collaborating with the Golden Time Team or the Kang Center.
