GOT7's Park Jinyoung is in talks to star in the upcoming movie "High Five."

In a new report, the 26-year-old star, often referred to as Jinyoung, is onto another lead role, together with a roster of industry's luminaries.

To recall, Yoo Ah In, Ra Mi Ran, Ahn Jae Hong, Lee Jae In, and "It's Okay to Not be Okay" actor Oh Jung Se were also courted to appear in the forthcoming film.

Helmed by "Sunny" and "Swing Kids" director Kang Hyung Chul, the much-awaited movie follows the story of five people who have extraordinary psychic abilities.

It came after the group began to experience bizarre skills after they received an organ transplant from a mysterious psychic person.

With their supernatural capabilities, the five main characters guard themselves against a group of people who try to steal their superhuman power.

Park Jinyoung's Latest Drama, "The Devil Judge"

2021 appears to be a busy year for the young actor and GOT7's vocalist.

Jinyoung is scheduled to appear in upcoming drama, "The Devil Judge," and has been offered a role in "Yumi's Cells."

The tvN mystery series is set to debut this coming July 3 and will air every Saturday and Sunday.

Moreover, "The Devil Judge" will be the newest dystopian drama that depicts an intense "live courtroom show" where the whole nation participates.

In the forthcoming drama, Jinyoung, who plays the associate trial judge Kim Ga On, is joined by brilliant stars.

This includes Ji Sung, who portrays a feisty head trial judge Kang Yo Han, alongside Park Gyu Young as police detective Yoon Soo Hyun, and Kim Min Jung as Kang Yo Han's greatest rival, Jung Sun Ah.

GOT7's Jinyoung to Possibly Join Kim Go Eun in "Yumi's Cell"

Apart from the new dystopian drama, the GOT7 member is in talks to appear in "Yumi's Cell."

In a report, his agency BH Entertainment revealed that the actor is currently "reviewing [the offer for] the drama."

If the 26-year-old South Korean heartthrob would agree to the role, he will work alongside Kim Go Eun, who previously confirmed her appearance.

In addition, he is set to play Yoo Babi, who is one of Yumi's boyfriends in season 2.

Aside from the duo, "Kairos" star Ahn Bo Hyun is also offered to star opposite the "Goblin" actress.

On the other hand, SHINee's Minho will also have a cameo role in the upcoming drama.

From Idol to One of Today's Promising Actors

Following the success of his group, GOT7, Park Jinyoung made his first acting stint in the 2012 rom-com musical "Dream High 2" as one of the supporting actors.

With his impressive acting skills, he landed his first-ever lead role in the 2015 drama "Dream Knight," followed by a supporting role in "The Legend of the Blue Sea," "He Is Psychometric," and another leading role in "When My Love Blooms."
