Yeon Woo Jin is rumored to appear alongside Son Ye Jin in the upcoming drama "Thirty-Nine."
In a new report, the 36-year-old actor is currently in talks to lead the cast of the new JTBC drama together with the Hallyu star. If he positively responds to the offer, this will be his second drama under JTBC for this year following his current series "Undercover" alongside lead stars Ji Jin Hee, Kim Hyun Joo, and Han Sun Hwa.
As for the award-winning actress, Son ye Jin's agency previously revealed that the "Crash Landing On You" star has been courted to lead the romance drama. With this, the management also mentioned that she is "positively considering" the offer.
Aside from the duo, Lee Moo Saeng, Jeon Mi Do, and the "Eulachacha Waikiki 2" actress Ahn So Hee were also rumored to join the cast.
Following the update about Yeon Woo Jin's possible project, fans can't help but gush over the actor's rumored drama. One fan noted that the "Priest" star deserved the upcoming drama.
The same goes with an individual who appears to be thrilled with Yeon Woo Jin on the silver screen.
On the other hand, one fan pointed out that "The World of Married" actor Lee Moo Saeng would be a "perfect fit" for Son Ye Jin instead of the "Undercover" actor.

The forthcoming Korean drama "Thirty-Nine" will be helmed by the "Age of Youth" director Kim Sang Ho. Joining him is scriptwriter Yoo Young Ah, whose famous works include "Encounter" and the 2916 movie "Run On."
The upcoming series follows the story of three friends who are on the verge of turning 40. As the saying goes, 40 is the 20s as "Thirty-Nine" illustrates how these women would find their romance while living their life to the fullest.
Son Ye Jin is set to portray the character of Cha Mi Jo, a head dermatologist in a Gangnam clinic who grew up with a wealthy life.
Meanwhile, Jeon Mi Do will act as Cha Mi Jo's friend Jung Chan Young who is a teacher.
Although the production has not yet confirmed the list of cast members and the targeted debut, "Thirty-Nine" is rumored to start filming in the second half of the year.
Yeon Woo Jin on his Current Drama "Undercover"
With his latest drama, Yeon Woo Jin is making waves with his portrayal as the young Han Jung Hyun, who later on became a National Security Planning agent, played by Ji Jin Hee.
The JTBC drama is a Korean remake for the hit BBC series of the same name, which debuted last April 23 and airs every Friday and Saturday.
Yeon Woo Jin became a household name with his breakthrough performance in the 2012 drama "Arang and the Magistrate" followed by "When A Man's in Love" and "Marriage, Not Dating."
