Kdrama "Youth of May" teases fans with intriguing new stills featuring Go Min Si and her onscreen father, Kim Won Hae.

KBS2 released a sneak peek signifying a tense confrontation between their father and daughter relationship following Lee Do Hyun'sHyun's shocking accident.

It appears that Kim Myung Hee, played by Go Min Si, refuses to adhere to Kim Hyun Chul's (Kim Won Hae) request to return to their hometown.

It came after the chaos in Gwangju had set off due to the imposed martial law.

Given that several civilians and innocent people got involved, Kim Hyun Chul was worried that his daughter might get caught up in the bad light if she doesn't leave the area.

Unfortunately, Kim Myung Hee insists on staying in Gwangju, which made his father upset.

Moreover, as the heated argument continued, this was witnessed by her younger brother, Kim Myung Soo (Jo Yi Hyun).

The new stills also suggest that an intense conflict will emerge between Kim Myung Hee and her estranged father as she deals with Hwang Hee Tae's car accident.

Lee Soo Chan Comforts Kim Myung Hee

Aside from Kim Myung Hee'sHee's family, "Youth of May" also unveiled a teaser featuring Lee Soo Chan, played by Lee Sang Yi.

After being freed by Hwang Gi Nam (Oh Man Suk), the new stills featured the bloodied and bruised Soo Chan, visited Myung Hee at the hospital to comfort her after knowing that Hee Tae got involved in a car crash while on his way to pick up blood supplies.

However, he left the vicinity with a sad look on his face as Kim Myung Hee waits for Hwang Hee Tae.

In a report cited by a South Korean outlet, the production team hints that the turmoil caused by the martial law will get intense as members of society tried to protect their loved ones from violence.

"Episode 11 shows the cross-section of the members of society who were sacrificed while trying to protect the ones they loved amid the whirlwind of history. Tune in to see how their individual lives fell apart in the horrors of that infamous day."

"Youth of May" Episode 10 Recap

In the previous episode, the SBS drama managed to get back at the number one spot after landing an average nationwide rating of 4.4 and 5.6 percent for its two parts.

"Youth of May" episode 10 featured a devastating scene as Hwang Hee Tae, alongside the Gwangju resident doctor, was rammed by a truck while on their way to pick up blood supplies.

At the time, Hee Tae left Myung Hee at the hospital to have a private talk with her father, who came to Gwangju amid the chaos to encourage his daughter to return to their hometown.

The previous episode also showed how Lee Soo Chan witnessed the government's violence and wrongdoings led by under Hwang Gi Nam's wing.
