"Youth of May" stars Lee Do Hyun and Go Min Si reflect on their experience and talk about the upcoming finale of the KBS series.
Through their agencies, both stars said that they were grateful to appear as the lead stars of the Monday and Tuesday drama.
Go Min Si Reveals She'll Never Forget Her Experience in "Youth of May"
Go Min Si's agency, Mystic Story, shares that the 26-year-old actress appreciates the love and support from fans, especially to her character, Kim Myung Hee.
"Thank you to the viewers who sent a lot of love to the drama "Youth of May" and "Kim Myung-hee," she mentioned.
In addition, the "Love Alarm" actress also shared that she will never forget her experience filming "Youth of May."
"The time spent crying and laughing in May 2021 will be remembered as precious memories for the rest of my life."
Moreover, the "Secret Boutique" also hopes that the youth or the young generation will find inspiration through their drama.
Go Min Si played the role of the feisty nurse Kim Myung Hee who aims for a better life for her and her family.
In order to achieve this, she applied for a scholarship abroad and was accepted in Germany; however, things get caught up when she meets Hwang Hee Tae, portrayed by Lee Do Hyun.
In "Youth of May," the actor plays a top medical student from a prestigious university in Seoul. He managed to return to Gwangju to help his best friend colleague who was an activist.

Lee Do Hyun Thankful for Fans and "Youth of May" Production Team
As for the 26-year-old South Korean heartthrob, he shared through his agency, Yuehua Entertainment, that he is thankful for the "support and love" from fans.
In addition, Lee Do Hyun was also surprised that the melodrama is about to end, adding that it was an honor to be a part of the cast.
"It was an honor to be with the director, writer, and all the actors who appeared. I was able to do well with a lot of teaching and help."
Meanwhile, the "18 Again" star explained that he is "happy" that he was able to play Hwang Hee Tae and explained that it would be an "unforgettable memory" for him.
Helmed by "Doctor Prisoner" director Song Min Yeop and written by Lee Kang, "Youth of May" follows the against all odds love story of two individuals who had a different background.
Aside from its intriguing love story, the melodrama also covers the historic Gwangju Uprising in the 80s.
"Youth of May" finale is set to air on June 8 and will feature the surprising twist with Hwang Hee Tae's father and Kim Myung Hee's family.
Lee Do Hyun and Go Min Si's Reunion Drama
The KBS drama is the reunion project between Lee Do Hyun and Go Min Si.
To recall, both starred in the hit Netflix series "Sweet Home" together with Song Kang, where they played the role of siblings Lee Eun Hyuk and Lee Eun Yoo.
