According to a media report on June 14, Jeon So Nee will possibly star in new drama "The Golden Hairpin," also known as "Youth, Climb the Barrier."

What to Expect from Historical-Romance Series "The Golden Hairpin"

If the "Scripting Your Destiny" star accepts the project, she is expected to portray the character of Min Jae Yi, a simple and quiet lady, engaged to the Second State Councillor's son.

As a gentle and young woman, she tries her best to learn everything on how to become a good wife and mother.

But a tragic event happened in her life right before her wedding - Min Jae Yi's family were killed.

Earlier in March (2021), "Hwarang" actor and Wooga Squad member, Park Hyung Sik also received an offer to play the male lead Prince Lee Hwan in the upcoming drama "The Golden Hairpin," his supposed drama comeback following his discharge from the military.

The production is scheduled to start in the second half of 2021 and is in talks to broadcast on tvN.

Meanwhile, "The Golden Hairpin" will depict the story of a prince suffering from a mysterious curse and an ordinary lady who is falsely accused of killing her family.

Their unexpected encounter will lead them to develop romance amidst the chaos in their life.
