Whether you're into romantic moments or thrilling cat-and-mouse series, a chaotic fight scene as comedic relief is sure to leave you roaring with laughter.
Take a look back at some of the iconic K-drama fight scenes to make your day!
Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo
First on the list is the star-studded SBS series Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo in 2016. Powerful Korean idol-actors IU and EXO Baekhyun were part of the cast lineup, and their characters initially weren't on good terms.
In one scene, the two engaged in a hilarious squabble. Even though Hae Soo and Prince Wang Eun were already grabbing each other's hair, not a single person from the onlookers stopped them from fighting.
The fight scene is iconic that it is used by Uaenas (IU fandom) and EXO-Ls (EXO fandom) whenever the two artists compete on major music charts.
It's Okay to Not be Okay
Of course, who wouldn't forget the best combo when it comes to never-ending bickering moments?
Seo Ye Ji and Oh Sung Je played as Ko Moon Young and Moon Sang Tae, respectively, in tvN's 2020 hit drama It's Okay to Not be Okay.
In one scene, Go Moon Young (Seo Ye Ji) and Moon Sang Tae (Oh Jung Se) fight for a doll that Moon Gang Tae (Kim Soo Hyun) gifted to both. While the altercation seems child-like, the two ended up with bruises and ripped clothes and the room became a mess.
True Beauty
Viewers were well-fed with a ton of hilarious scenes in the romantic-comedy drama True Beauty. Moon Ga Young played the character of Lim Ju Kyung, who always had small and realistic fights with her younger brother Lim Ju Young (Kim Min Ki).
In one episode, Ju Young became the receiving end of Ju Kyung's wrath after he sold Han Seo Jun's (Hwang In Yeop) most prized helmet. The sibling fight became even more entertaining as their father received the most hits while trying to stop the two.
Aside from the sibling fight, Lee Suho (Cha Eun Woo) and Han Seo Jun's scuffles and bromance also had us hooting with laughter.
Vincenzo
These skilled members of the Cassano Family made our weekends a whole lot better back in February 2021.
Living up to its black comedy genre, "Vincenzo" showcased a lot of fight scenes, some of which were intense and mind-blowing while some made us like a drain. But we can all agree that the most satisfying scene - EVER - in "Vincenzo" (or probably in the whole Kdramaland) was in Episode 19.
Vincenzo, Hong Cha Young, Seo Miri and Choi Young Joon were outnumbered during a confrontation. The mafia consigliere was too weak and wounded to protect the two women while Choi Young Joon was being held. Just when one the assailants was about to hit Vincenzo, with Cha Young trying to shield him, all the Cassano Family members suddenly showed up.
It then revealed each of the tenants' past and tricks up their sleeves, leaving Vincenzo in awe.
A Business Proposal
It's safe to say that the 2022 romantic-comedy drama "A Business Proposal's" comedy and saccharine elements blend well together. Viewers were purely entertainment by Shin Ha Ri's (Kim Sejeong) adorable yet feisty character and Kang Tae Moo's (Ahn Hyo Seop) arrogance and hidden cuteness he only shows to his sweetheart.
But apart from these two love birds, we found ourselves laughing at Shin Ha Ri's chaotic family, especially her strict mom Han Mi Mo, portrayed by Jung Young Joo.
In Episode 12, Shin Ha Ri didn't go home and spent the night with Kang Tae Moo. The morning after, they were being lovey-dovey in front of her family's chicken place after he brought her home.
Unbeknownst to the two, Han Mi Mo saw them and all hell broke loose from there. Shin Ha Ri didn't fight back at her mother, but she was fighting for her life.
Which among these iconic K-drama fight scenes made you laugh? Don't forget to share it with us in the comments!
