‘Vagabond’ Actor Yoo Teo Makes It to Hollywood + To Lead the Upcoming Movie ‘Past Lives’

"Vagabond" star Yoo Teo is set to take part in the upcoming Hollywood movie, "Past Lives."

On August 3, good news conquered the K-media when model-actor Yoo Teo is announced to make his way to Hollywood. According to reports, Yoo Teo is confirmed to star in the upcoming movie "Past Lives," a work by A24, the producer and distributor of the hit Korean film "Minari" and American movie "Moonlight."

"Past Lives" tells the love story of a man and woman who met in Korea when they were young and reunited after becoming adults. In addition, Celine Song is in charge of writing the script and directing the movie.

Meanwhile, the Korean-American actress Greta Lee, who starred in Netflix's "Russian Doll" will be Yoo Teo's on-screen partner. Actor John Magaro is also on board to play a supporting role. Other details regarding the movie are being kept under wraps.

Filming for the movie is set to begin anytime this 2021.

Being the versatile actor that he is, Yoo Teo has been partnered with various entertainment agencies. In the U.S, the "Arthdal Chronicles" actor is represented by Authentic Talent and Literary Management and Jackoway Austen. Agentur Dorandt as his representative in Germany and C-Jes Entertainment in South Korea.

On the same day after the news broke out in Hollywood headlines, Yoo Teo's agency in South Korea, C-Jes Entertainment, confirmed the actor's participation and even shared the good news on their official Instagram page.

Yoo Teo Dramas, Past Projects

Yoo Teo appeared in various top-notch movies and dramas, where he showcased his brilliant acting. In 2019 he starred in three Korean dramas, namely "Arthdal Chronicles," "Vagabond," and "Chocolate."

In 2020, Yoo Teo starred in tvN's "Money Game" and in Netflix's "The School Nurse Files."

Aside from the series, Yoo Teo also conquered the big screen with "Black Money," "Pawn," and his recent one, "New Year Blues." With his superb acting in the movie "Vertigo," Yoo Teo won the Best New Actor award in the 41st Blue Dragon Film Awards that happened last February 9, 2021.
