tvN gave fans a sneak peek of Lee Sang Yi's character for the highly-anticipated K-drama "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha," starring Shin Min Ah and Kim Seon Ho.
The broadcast network shared a series of still cuts featuring the "Youth of May" star as he transforms into a charismatic top variety show director.
"Lee Sang, who transformed into a star producer in the entertainment industry, Ji Sung Hyun! Great personality and sweet voice," the caption reads.
The 29-year-old actor dons a bright smile while scouting for a possible location for his show. In one photo, Ji Sung Hyun held a camera, suggesting that he is passionate about his work.
Over the comments section, fans expressed their support towards the actor and seemed thrilled to see him in his new drama.
To recall, before "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha," Lee Sang Yi starred in K-drama "Youth of May" alongside Lee Do Hyu and Go Min Si, where he played the role of Geum Sae Rok's older brother, Lee Soo Chan.

What the Viewers Can Expect from Lee Sang Yi Role in 'Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha'
In the drama, the 29-year-old actor portrays the workaholic yet lovable hit variety show director Ji Sung Hyun.
During their previous interview, Lee sang Yi hints at his connection with Shin Min Ah and Kim Seon Ho's character.
"While searching for a new locale for a variety show shoot, he winds up in Gongjin," he explained, adding, "When he ends up meeting the character of Mr. Hong, chaos ensues."
The Hallyu star took the role of Yoon Hye Jin, a Seoul-based dentist who moved to seashore village Gongjin with hopes of starting a new life.
In the small town, she meets Hong Doo Shik, who is quite popular in town for being an expert at doing odd jobs.
The latest teaser suggests a chaotic yet funny encounter as the duo constantly meets in the small town of Gongjin.
'Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha' Release Date
"Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha" is based on the 2004 movie "Mr. Hong" starring Uhm Jung Hwa and Kim Joo Hyuk.
After 17 years, the rom-com movie is set to release its remake, helmed by "Abyss" and "Hi Bye, Mama!" director Yoo Je Won alongside screenwriter Shin Ha Eun, who is the genius behind the 2019 drama "The Crowned Clown."
With the series of teasers and captivating trailers, Shin Min Ah and Kim Seon Ho's much-awaited K-drama is slated to broadcast on August 28.
This will be the newest Saturday and Sunday night drama which can be streamed on tvN and Netflix.

The upcoming drama is among Lee Sang Yi's remarkable shows since he debuted in 2017 for the KBS series "Manhole."
