After nine successful seasons, the beloved variety show "SNL Korea" is set to return with a new host, Lee Byung Hun.
According to multiple media outlets, the award-winning actor confirmed his appearance and will take on the show's first guest host.
Back in July, Lee Byung Hun's agency, BH Entertainment, announced that the 52-year-old A-lister had been courted to appear and shared that he is "positively reviewing the offer."
Now, he will join the "SNL Korea" mainstay host led by Shin Dong Yup alongside Red Velvet's Wendy, Kwon Hyuk Soo, Ahn Young Mi, Jung Sang Hoon, Kim Min Kyo, and Cha Chung Hwa.

Coupang Play Announces' SNL Korea' Release Date
Following the announcement regarding the variety show's first guest host, OTT platform Coupang Play revealed the official release date.
"The first original comedy show 'SNL Korea' has confirmed its first broadcast on September 4."
After the show's four-year hiatus, the late-night live sketch comedy show, adapted on NBC's "Saturday Night Live," will be the newest weekend program that will give the viewers another reason to smile and laugh.
To recall, 'SNL Korea" season 9 aired from March to November 2017with hosts Shin Dong Yup, Yoo Se Yoon, "Hanging On" star Jung Sang Hoon and more.
In February, Variety reported that Ana Langenberg, the Senior Vice President of NBC Universal Format, is thrilled to present the tenth season of the variety show, adding, "The iconic show has received enthusiastic support from viewers for many years. We hope that the new partner A Story and the original production team of SNL Korea will bring a fresh new look. I want to quickly see how the viewers will react to the show."
'Hospital Playlist' Star Jo Jung Suk in Talks to Appear as Guest Host
Apart from Lee Byung Hun, "Hospital Playlist" star Jo Jung Suk is being offered to appear as the show's guest host.
"Jo Jung Suk received an offer to appear on 'SNL Korea' and is reviewing the offer," his agency, JAM Entertainment, revealed.
Lee Byung Hun's Comeback Drama "Our Blues" and "Here"
His upcoming appearance in "SNL Korea" season 10 is just among his upcoming projects this coming year.
Lee Byung Hun's new drama is set to be the star-studded Netflix original titled "Our Blues," where he will be working alongside power couple Shin Min Ah and Kim Woo Bin together with "Parasite" actress Lee Jung Eun, Cha Seung Won, and more.
Apart from the streaming giants' new series, the A-lister will also lead the cast of tvN's "Here" helmed by "It's Okay, That's Love" and "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" director Kim Kyu Tae with veteran screenwriter Noh Hee Kyung.
74th Cannes Film Festival
Recently, Lee Byung Hun appeared at the prestigious 74th Cannes Film Festival with Im Siwan and "Parasite" director Bong Joon Ho and actor Song Kang Ho to present an award.
During the ceremony, presented the award for Best Actress opposite Norwegian actress Renate Reinsve.
