JTBC's "Sea of Hope" continues to grapple with viewership ratings despite its powerhouse cast starring Lee Dong Wook, Kim Go Eun, "Penthouse: War in Life" actress Lee Ji Ah and more.
Before its grand premiere, the show is expected to garner high figures in terms of viewership as it boasts a star-studded cast.
Apart from the trio, "Sea of Hope" cast also includes singer-songwriter Yoon Jong Shin, SHINee's Onew, and AKMU's Su Hyun.
Unfortunately, viewership ratings have remained very low since its debut.

According to Nielsen Korea, the reality show dropped to its lowest rating of an average nationwide of 0.982 percent in "Sea of Hope" episode 8.
With these figures, the JTBC show displays no rebound as they struggle to score high ratings in future episodes.
To recall, the "Sea of Hope" viewership rating achieved its highest during the premiere, garnering 1.482 percent.
Viewers Called Out Lee Dong Wook and Kim Go Eun's 'Sea of Hope'
According to a South Korean outlet, viewers lamented the lack of story flow and some awkward scenes.
Over Twitter, one fan criticized the "blurry" and shaky shots during Onew's performance.

Lee Dong Wook Talks About His Role in 'Sea of Hope' Including Having No Scripts
Before the "Sea of Hope" broadcast, the "Tale of the Nine-Tailed" star revealed that they don't follow any script in the reality show, suggesting that the viewers will see the real version of themselves while in front of the camera.
"Actually, we do not have a script or setting. Every morning, we naturally gather in the kitchen and do our individual work. When we are hungry, we prepare it all together."
Moreover, the Hallyu star also mentioned what made him say yes to appear in the reality show.
He shared that he always wanted to live near the beach, which prompted him to accept the offer.
"Performing lots of music, making drinks, and making good and happy memories with the guests will all be new experiences for me, so I wanted to try doing this show."
In JTBC's Tuesday program, the "Goblin" star served as the establishment's head bartender and works alongside Lee Ji Ah works as the head chef.
Meanwhile, the bar is being supervised by their general manager, Yoon Jong Shin.
As for the other cast members, Kim Go Eun helps with the restaurant as a server and, at the same time, acts as a lifeguard during the day.
Like the "Cheese and the Trap" star, AKMU's Su Hyun also doubles as a musician and assistant bartender.
