With only days before the grand premiere, "Lovers of the Red Sky" starring Kim Yoo Jung and Ahn Hyo Seop, proved their chemistry as they graced the online presentation alongside director Jang Tae Yoo.
Joining them are their fellow lead stars Gong Myung and Kwak Shi Yang, who looked dapper in an all-black ensemble.
As for the former child star turned sought after leading lady, the 21-year-actress wowed the crowd with her beige long sleeve midi dress that exuded her elegance and grace.
Meanwhile, the "Dr. Romantic 2" star showed his stunning visuals sporting a three-piece white suit.
During the press conference, the cast members and director introduced the upcoming drama to the public and also shared their thoughts regarding "Lovers of the Red Sky."
'Lovers of the Red Sky' PD Ensures Viewers That There Will be No Historical Distortion
Drama PD Jang Tae Yoo began by lauding the actors with their breathtaking visuals and acting skills.
"It was an atmosphere where I could take care of myself, and all I had to do was turn the camera," he mentioned.
"Lovers of the Red Sky" is a historical drama based on the bestselling novel of the same name written by Jung Eun-Gwol.
Following the controversy regarding the SBS drama "Joseon Exorcist," director Jang Tae Yoo shared his thoughts regarding the issue, given that the upcoming drama is also set under the Joseon era.
During the press event, he explained that the drama was established in the same dynasty but introduced a fantasy genre, making it different from the defunct series.
"We maintained Hong Chun Gi and Haram's names and tried to prevent controversy over distortion of history by changing the names of real people and names of Joseon to imaginary names," the PD added.
To recall, "Joseon Exorcist" faced a massive wave of online criticism due to alleged distortion of historical facts.
A petition also reached the Blue House requesting the cancellation of the drama.
Unfortunately, the clamor led to SBS' decision to officially cancel the program after airing two episodes.

Surprisingly, the historical fantasy drama is his reunion project with Kim Yoo Jung after filming the 2008 series "The Painter of the Wind."
With this, the 21-year old actress mentioned how comfortable she is working with PD Jang Tae Yoo.
On the other hand, the veteran director joked about his age after working with the actress during her earlier days.
As the press conference continued, Ahn Hyo Seop shared his thoughts regarding his new drama.
He revealed having the best moments with co-stars Gong Myung and Kwak Shi Yang, who also plays the lead character.

The press briefing comes ahead of the highly anticipated premiere slated on August 30 every Monday and Tuesday and can be viewed through SBS, ViuTV, and Viki.
In the upcoming K-drama "Lovers of the Red Sky," Kim Yoo Jung took on the role of Hong Chun Gi, the only skilled female painter during the Joseon dynasty.
Here, she reunites with her childhood friend, Ha Ram, played by Ahn Hyo Seop, a talented but blind astrologer working at the Seowoongwan station.
