The JTBC's 10th Anniversary Special Project "Lost" (also known as "Human Disqualification" or "No Longer Human") starring actors Jeon Do Yeon and Ryu Jun Yeol released its drama preview on August 27, a week prior to its big premiere.
"Lost" marks the small screen comeback of Jeon Do Yeon and Ryu Jun Yeol after six years of inactivity.
Jeon Do Yeon and Ryu Jun Yeol Cross Paths While On the Verge of Giving Up in 'Lost'
The upcoming melodrama "Lost" follows the story of two ordinary people Boo Jung, a ghostwriter, and Kang Jae, a man who wants to become rich, played by Jeon Do Yeon and Ryu Jun Yeol, respectively, who suddenly realize that they have become nothing in the middle of their lives.
In the newly released preview, the two main characters were enveloped with deep loneliness and darkness
The conversation between father Chang Suk and mother-in-law Min Ja, played by actors Park In Hwan and Shin Shin Ae respectively, gives the prospective viewers the hint of an unexpected and painful miscarriage and infidelity, which only arouses curiosity and anticipation.
On the other hand, Kang Jae resents his mother Mi Seon, played by Kang Ji Eun. He asks her, "How can you not give me, your only son, 300,000?"
For the 27-year-old Kang Jae, money is equivalent to life. Hence, his dream of becoming rich.
On the other hand, the first encounter of Boo Jung and Kang Jae marks the beginning of a story.

Boo Jung asks herself, "I guess he saw me for the first time yesterday. I'm just an invisible person to him."
Unsure whether Kang Jae knows Boo Jung's personal dilemma, he asks her, "Do you live on the 10th floor?"
Interestingly, Kang Jae turns around and coolly says, "Let's talk the next time we meet."
The unique first encounter of the two heightened the anticipation and excitement of the prospective viewers. Both actors are expected to show a performance that was never seen before.
'Lost' Production and Release Date
The forthcoming drama "Lost" aims to give comfort and healing to the viewers who oftentimes feel lost and dissatisfied, no matter what they do.
"Lost" is helmed by "Princess Deokhye" director Heo Jin Ho together with "Introduction to Architecture" screenwriter Kim Ji Hye.
Apink's Son Na Eun, Yoo Soo Bin, Park Byung Eun, and Kim Hyo Jin are also part of the drama series.
It is scheduled to air for the first time on JTBC at 10:30 p.m. KST on September 4.
