The second episode of the newest weekend romantic comedy drama series "Hometown Cha-cha-cha" starring Shin Min Ah and Kim Seon Ho aired on August 29.
Its latest episode didn't just highlight the brewing friendship between Shin Min Ah and Kim Seon Ho but also gave a huge emphasis to the colorful and cheerful lives of the neighborhood of the peaceful seaside village of Gongjin.
Yoon Hye Jin Settles in Gongjin and Opens Her Own Dental Clinic
In the previous episode, Yoon Hye Jin, played by Shin Min Ah, resigns from her job after an altercation between her money-hungry boss.
As she was searching for her inner peace in Gongjin, she meets an all-around handyman named Hong Doo Sik, played by Kim Seon Ho, who introduces her to a nice, small place where she can open up her own dental clinic.
On a whim, she settles in her new home with her best friend, Pyo Mi Seon, played by actress Gong Min Jeung, who decides to work for her as a dental assistant after getting her heart broken in Seoul.
Yoon Hye Jin, The Female Enemy of Gongjin
With the sudden change in lifestyle, from the city life to a more toned down countryside life, Yoon Hye Jin finds it difficult to adjust and be chummy with the residents of Gongjin.
On the fateful day of the Gongjin's Elders Party, Yoon Hye Jin attends the dance with uneasiness and a hint of indifference.
The Gongjin residents welcomed her with open arms, trying to make the dentist more at home. The elders Gam Ri and her friends, played by seasoned actresses Kim Young Ok, Lee Yong Yi, and Shin Shin Ae, urged Hye Jin to eat, but to her surprise, the elders were eating barehanded.
With this, she felt a tinge of awkwardness, having experienced the different culture and upbringing.

As the Gongjin residents flocked around the newcomer, one by one, Yoon Hye Jin offended them with her tactless mouth.
Yeo Hwa Jung, her landlord, Jo Nam Sook, Geum Cheul, Yun kyung, and most especially, Oh Cheon Jae were hurt by Yoon Hye Jin's words.
Oh Cheon Jae, played by Jo Han Chul, is a cafe and pub owner who was a former singer. Despite his age, he still thinks he will make it big in the entertainment industry.
Unfortunately, Yoon Hye Jin crushes his dreams when she unconsciously badmouths him behind his back.
With this, after being offended one by one, the residents of Gongjin turned their backs on the dentist, even boycotting her dental clinic's grand opening.
This took a toll on Yoon Hye Jin's morale. Doo Sik, who undeniably cares for the woman, comes to the rescue.
Chief Hong Saves The Day, Yoon Hye Jin Exerts More Effort
He may not say it out loud, Hong Doo Sik cares about Yoon Hye Jin more than anyone thinks.
After understanding Hye Jin's situation deeply, he takes an extra mile to promote the almost bankrupt dental clinic to the residents of Gongjin.
Interestingly, there are a number of people who actually visited Hye Jin's clinic. The surge of dental patients made her and Mi Seon, her best friend, delighted.
After her busiest day since she set foot on the seaside village, she decides to look for Doo Sik to express her gratitude.
On her way to the beach, she bumps into Cheon Jae, the frustrated singer whom she deeply hurt. She shared that she listened to his music, and she loved the songs in it. Hye Jin also asked for his apology, which he almost immediately gave.
The fact that Hye Jin listened to his songs was more than enough, his heart couldn't be any happier.
On the beach, she found Doo Sik reading a book. She then calls for his attention to express her thanks.
As the man holds her hand to let her climb the rock where a fantastic view can be seen, Hye Jin steps on a rock that made her stumble.
