Yumi's Cells Release Date
The upcoming K-drama Yumi's cells release date is slated on September 17, airing every Friday and Saturday with a total of 14 episodes.
Directed by Lee Sang Yeob, who is the genius behind the popular series "Shopping King Louie," he worked alongside screenwriters Song Jae Jung, Kim Yoon Joo, and Kim Kyung Ran to give the audience a visual representation of the beloved webtoon.
In the forthcoming rom-com series, Kim Go Eun took on the titular role of Kim Yumi, an ordinary office girl with extraordinary life together with her special friends, her cells.
Despite this, people around her did not know her past. Yumi fell into a coma after suffering a traumatic breakup. Fortunately, she managed to recover but had a hard time processing her thoughts, feelings, and emotions.
Luckily her love cells are set to be awakened with the help of game developer Goo Woong, played by Ahn Bo Hyun.
This raises the curiosity regarding the duo's on-screen chemistry as they portray two different persons.

Apart from the duo, TVING recently introduced the characters of Lee Yoo Bi as Ruby and Park Ji Hyun as Seo Sae Yi.
The broadcast network hints at the duo's role, suggesting that they will wake up Yumi's anxiety and hysteria cells.
Aside from them, Yumi's Cells cast also includes GOT7's Jinyoung and Jung Soon Won as Chief Nam.
