American entertainment media outlet Variety cited in one of their recent articles published last October 6 that Kdrama "Squid Game" is a strong candidate to earn a nomination at the Primetime Emmy Awards. It was after the series made history of breaking new records as the most-watched content on Netflix in almost 83 countries a week after its world premiere.

The US Television Arts and Sciences Academy has confirmed that "Squid Game" has been qualified as a candidate for the Primetime Emmy Awards. Variety said in their report that "Squid Game" is the TV version of "Parasite."
They added that online streaming platform Netflix will challenge various awards ceremonies for bringing such top-notch contents.
A number of big US media outlets are also optimistic and rooting about "Squid Game" and the possibility of bringing home the grand prize at the prestigious event. It has been said that "Squid Game" is fascinating the world by building strong Korean characters and real-life stories and problems happening in our society today.
'It's Okay to Not Be Okay' and 'River Where the Moon Rises' at International Emmy Awards
Fantasy-historical Kdrama "River Where the Moon Rises," starring Kim So Hyun and Na In Woo, also made its entry at the 49th International Emmy Awards last April.
Joining is tvN's hit Kdrama "It's Okay to Not Be Okay." In September, the series scored nominations for TV Movie and Mini Series Category at the forthcoming International Emmy Awards.
"It's Okay to Not Be Okay," starring Kim Soo Hyun, Seo Ye Ji, and Oh Jung Se, has a compelling plot and overall concept that were lauded by the international audience.
