PENTAGON Hongseok, Golden Child Bomin, fromis 9 Nagyung, Shim Dal Gi and more work together in decorating Kakao TV's forthcoming webtoon-based "Shadow Beauty."
In the drama, Shim Dal Gi challenges herself as she takes on the role of a bullied high school student named Goo Ae Jin.
fromis9 Nagyung will star as Genie, Goo Ae Jin's flawless social media star who has beautiful looks.
Shim Dal Gi starred in several box office films "Tune in for Love" and "Samjin Company English Class". On the other hand, "Shadow Beauty" marks fromis 9 Nagyung's grand drama debut.
Attention is focused on the difference in acting between Shim Dal Gi and Nagyung, who are both playing the role of a bullied person and her alter ego.

On the other hand, Golden Child Bomin, who first appeared in dramas "18 Again" and "A-TEEN," captures the heart of the characters as he stars as the model student and class president Kim Ho In. Although he seems like a nice guy who lives a perfect life, he holds a dark secret deep within him.
PENTAGON Hongseok, who recently starred in the melodrama "Blue Birthday" alongside Red Velvet Yeri, doesn't stray away from his original job as an idol as he is set to portray the handsome high school student Lee Jin Sung, who dreams to become a successful idol one day. He is also Goo Ae Jin's best friend.
Rising stars Heo Jung Hee and Bae Ji Hye play the role of Yang Ha Neul and Jo Sae Hee, respectively, who are Goo Ae Jin's biggest bullies, and take the lead to make the poor student's life miserable. They are expected to give a detailed and intense acting performance that will strengthen the drama's plot.

The romance drama "Shadow Beauty" was based on the webtoon of the same name, which was written by Ah Heum.
"Shadow Beauty" is directed and played by Bang Soo In, and it will consist of 13 episodes with 20 minutes running time each.
