According to South Korean media outlets, the actress has decided not to renew her contract with the company.
With this, a representative from Salt Entertainment addresses the issue and states that "It's not time to start discussing contract renewals yet."
To recall, the "Descendants of the Sun" star signed an exclusive contract with the company in February 2020 and is set to expire in the same month next year.
Salt Entertainment is the home for Hallyu star Park Shin Hye, Kim Jung Hwa and Kim Seon Ho, who is currently embroiled in a controversy.

Kim Ji Won to Make a Comeback in New Kdrama 'My Liberation Diary'
Amid her rumored transfer, Kim Ji Won is preparing for her upcoming Kdrama "My Liberation Diary."
The JTBC series will be the actress' comeback to the small screen after starring in the hit Kdrama "Lovestruck in the City" with Ji Chang Wook, Kim Min Seok and more.
In her upcoming series, the 29-year-old beauty will play the role of the youngest of the family, Yum Min Jung.
She portrays an introverted person who has gone through life feeling alone and different from others.
Yum Min Jung eventually veered away from this feeling and freed herself from her usual life.
Interestingly, the upcoming JTBC series is a reunion project between Kim Ji Won and Lee Min Ki, who starred in film "Detective K: Secret of the Living Dead" in 2018.
Joining the two stars are Lee El, Lee Ki Woo, Son Seok Koo and more, while "My Liberation Diary" is helmed by "Law School" director Kim Seok Yoon and penned by Park Hae Young, who wrote the drama "Another Miss Oh," and "My Mister."
