Woo Do Hwan to Possibly Star in Netflix's 'Hunting Dogs'
On November 2, Woo Do Hwan's agency KeyEast Entertainment confirmed the news that the actor received a casting offer to star in the forthcoming Netflix drama "Hunting Dogs."
In addition to their statement, "The King: Eternal Monarch" is positively reviewing the project.
"Hunting Dogs," also known as "Hounds," is a webtoon-based series that will tell the story of three men who get entangled with one another because of debt. Together, they will encounter challenges to pay for the money they borrowed.
In addition, "Midnight Runners" director Kim Joo Hwan will helm and pen the script. Once the cast lineup is confirmed, the filming is expected to begin in the first half of 2022.
Also, this potential drama will mark Woo Do Hwan's small screen return following "The King: Eternal Monarch" in 2020.
Lee Do Hyun and Kwak Dong Yeon Decline to Star in 'Hunting Dogs'
In June, "Youth of May" actor Lee Do Hyun and "Vincenzo" star Kwak Dong Yeon were the first artists to receive offers to star in "Hunting Dogs," but it was in September when K-media insiders reported that the two actors declined to do the project.
Meanwhile, Lee Do Hyun and Kwak Dong Yeon are busy with their respective projects. After "Youth of May," Do Hyun is set to have a drama comeback this November with tvN's "Melancholia" alongside Im Soo Jung.
Kwak Dong Yeon who was lauded for his portrayal in the hit black-comedy drama "Vincenzo" is gearing up for a new film titled "6/45."

Woo Do Hwan Updates Instagram Ahead of Military Discharge
On October 31, a representative from KeyEast Entertainment revealed that the "Tempted" actor is currently on his final leave from the military. Woo Do Hwan is scheduled to be discharged on January 5, 2022.
On the other hand, fans were surprised when Woo Do Hwan posted for the first time on his Instagram after a long time. The male star shared snaps of himself enjoying the Halloween-themed background where he took a selfie.
He also wrote in his caption that he already misses his fans. On November 2, Woo Do Hwan shared again pictures of him wearing his military uniform.
Meanwhile, Woo Do Hwan's celebrity friends were delighted to see updates from him and even showed their support on the comment sections of his newly uploaded pictures.
