The "Squid Game" cast is all set to continue their promotion in the United States! According to K-media insiders, Lee Jung Jae and Jung Ho Yeon have already departed from Incheon and are now heading to America to start their activities. Meanwhile, Park Hae Soo is said to follow after he finishes his work schedules in Korea.

The director of the megahit Kdrama, Hwang Dong Hyuk, will be meeting the cast again for overseas promotions of "Squid Game" in Los Angeles, USA.

'Squid Game' Cast to Meet Overseas Fans

Even before they left for the US, the "Squid Game" stars already began promoting in American entertainment when they guest appeared in the popular talk show "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last October 7.

But due to the COVID-19 situation, they did the interview remotely. The collaboration was made possible because of the overwhelming requests and various calls from overseas fans. Adding to their bucket list is the upcoming face-to-face interviews in America.

The three cast members of the series are said to have work schedules solo and as a team.

Lee Jung Jae will first attend the 2021 Art + Film Gala which will be held at Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Director Hwang Dong Hyuk and Lee Byung Hun will also join him at the event on November 6.

On the other hand, Jung Ho Yeon is said to have business meetings for global activities as she is already now the new face of various famous brands. Park Hae Soo will also be attending different event schedules thanks to his ongoing global popularity.

In addition, "Squid Game" was also nominated in two categories at the 31st Gotham Awards in the United States. Lead actor Lee Jung Jae joined the list of artists selected for the New Series Best Performance Award and the Best Feature Series Award.

Apart from the Gotham Awards, "Squid Game" was successfully nominated for the TV section's category "The Show of the Year" at the People's Choice Awards, an American Pop Culture Awards Ceremony. The blockbuster K-series was also reportedly qualifies for Primetime Emmy Awards nominations.
