Lee Sang Yeob is in talks to join the cast of "Eve's Scandal," starring Seo Ye Ji and Park Byung Eun.

According to Newsen, his agency, Ungbin ENS, shared that the "Good Casting" star is courted to appear in the upcoming melodrama.

"Lee Sang Yeop received an offer to appear in 'Eve's Scandal' and is reviewing it positively," said the management.

If the 38-year-old actor agrees, he is set to play human rights lawyer Seo Eun Pyeong.

Viewers could expect outstanding skills from this heartthrob who impressed the fans with his amazing talent after starring in the 2013 movie "The Flu" and MBC's "On the Verge of Insanity."

As mentioned, he would join the "It's Okay to Not Be Okay" star and the 44-year-old actor, who was offered the lead role in the upcoming Kdrama.

At the time, a source from tvN revealed to Munhwa Ilbo, that the team is "in the process of coordinating our opinions and waiting for her final response," but her agency says that they are still reviewing the offer.

Penned by the "Birth of a Beauty" and "Nice Witch" writer Yoon Young Mi, "Eve's Scandal" depicts the story of a massive divorce lawsuit amounting to $1.7 billion or 2 trillion won.

Moreover, the lawsuit became the talk of the entire nation after a chaebol was involved in the case.

Park Byun Hun's character is set to be the CEO of a top financial conglomerate, while Seo ye Ji will portray Lee Ra El, who was a daughter of a genius father and a gorgeous mother; hence her striking beauty.

If the "Kingdom" actor accepts the offer, "Eve's Scandal" will be his first leading role next to JTBC's "Lost."

As for the controversial actress, this will be her comeback Kdrama after starring in the blockbuster series "It's Okay to Not be Okay" with Hallyu star Kim Soo Hyun and award-winning actor Oh Jung Se.

Apart from the said actors, multiple outlets also cited that Yoo Sun will also join the cast and is positively considering the offer.

She is courted to play Han So Ra, a known celebrity and the hostess of a chaebol group.

Following the possible cast lineup, "Eve's Scandal" release date is slated for 2022; however, a series of fan accounts on Twitter shared unofficial photos of the 31-year-old beauty on the set.

Based on the photos circulated on Twitter, fans believe that it was during the "Eve's Scandal production."

To recall, the actress hit pause on her career after she became a subject of controversy that involves manipulation to ex-boyfriend Kim Jung Hyun and bullying issues.

The issue prompted the actress to drop out from her upcoming Kdrama "Island" after revealing that she suffers from health concerns.
