Whether it is still in talks, recently confirmed, or started filming the production, here are the fresh and upcoming team-ups fans should look out for in the coming year.
Park Min Young and Song Kang (Meteorological Agency People: The Cruelty of Office Romance)
In June, JTBC confirmed the main cast of the romance drama "Meteorological Agency People: The Cruelty of Office Romance," starring Park Min Young and Song Kang.
It depicts a love story between the Hallyu star's character Jin Ha Kyung a highly organized individual who usually goes by the book and Lee Shi Woo, played by the "Sweet Home" star whose role harbors a free spirit and is never afraid to think outside the box.
The upcoming JTBC Drama has a unique story that features the lives of people who worked at Korea's national weather forecast service.
According to reports, they have started the production and aims to premiere the Kdrama in the first half of 2022.
Song Joong Ki and Shin Hyun Bin (The Youngest Son of a Conglomerate)
After starring in the blockbuster hit "Vincenzo," Song Joong Ki confirmed his appearance in the upcoming revenge fantasy series "The Youngest Son of a Conglomerate" with "Hospital Playlist" actress Shin Hyun Bin.
Based on the novel of the same name written by San Gyung, the upcoming series follows the life of a loyal employee named Jin Do Joon and his unfortunate fate that happens in the hands of his chaebol boss.

He was framed for embezzlement and ended up being murdered; however, he found himself being reborn as the family's youngest son to take his revenge.
Do Joon then meets the feisty prosecutor Seo Min Young played by Shin Hyun Bin, who is often dubbed as the "grim reaper" of the chaebol family.
Song Joong Ki's new drama is set to be released in 2022 via JTBC.
Lee Sung Kyung and Kim Young Dae (Shooting Stars)
The "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo" star is returning to the small screen with another rom-com Kdrama "Shooting Stars."
Lee Sung Kyung is paired with Kim Young Dae, whose popularity rose after starring in the makjang series "The Penthouse."
Set to play the characters of PR team head Oh Han Byul, the forthcoming series follows an enemy to lovers type of relationship with the sought-after matinee star Gong Tae Sung portrayed by the 25-year-old actor.
Outlets cited that "Shooting Stars" began filming in September and will debut sometime next year.
Moon Ga Young and Yeo Jin Goo (Link)
Another swoon-worthy on-screen couple is Moon Ga Young and Yeo Jin Goo in their new Kdrama "Link."
The "Beyond Evil" star will take on the role of sous-chef Eun Gye Hoon while the former child star turned leading lady will play Noh Da Hyun, who hides a mysterious personality.
