Lee Kwang Soo is coming back to the small screen with AOA's Seolhyun for the upcoming series "The Murderer Shopping List."
After multiple reports noted that the former "Running Man" star is set to return to Kdrama land, a representative from tvN confirmed that the beloved actor is the lead star of a new mystery thriller series.
According to media outlets, the broadcast network announced that they have cast the duo as the lead stars alongside "Suits" star Jin Hee Kyung.
Meanwhile, the production team hints at the trio's chemistry, stimulating the viewers' curiosity with the brutal tension and entertainment.

tvN's forthcoming Kdrama is based on the novel of the same name written by Kang Ji Young, helmed by "Missing" director Lee Eon Hee and penned by "Wanted" and "The Ghost Detective" screenwriter Han Ji Wan.
"The Murderer Shopping List" release date is scheduled to debut in the first half of 2022.
It focuses on the bloody murder case and the danger that will occur in a neighborhood.
In the upcoming thriller mystery series, Lee Kwang Soo will take on the role of supermarket cashier Ahn Dae Song.
His character has an extraordinary memory and distinct observation skills, who can't turn a blind eye to injustice.

Meanwhile, the AOA member, whose real name is Kim Seol Hyun will portray Do Ah Hee, a passionate police officer from Odong District who happens to be Dae Song's girlfriend.
She is also assigned to crack the case regarding the various crimes happening in their small neighborhood.
As for Jin Hee Kyung, she is set to play the MS Mart president Jung Myuk Sook and Ahn Dae Song's mother.
In the drama, she has a fearless personality who loves her incompetent husband and a senseless son.
Lee Kwang Soo's Return to Kdrama
The upcoming tvN series will be Lee Kwang Soo's comeback drama after starring in the 2018 rom-com "Live" with Jung Yu Mi, Bae Jong Ok and Bae Sung Woo.
Moreover, he recently starred in the blockbuster movie "Sinkhole" alongside Kim Sung Kyun and Cha Seung Won.
Interestingly, fans would get to see more of the funny man in another Kdrama, "Hero," where he is set to transform as the amateur boxer Oh Gyu Tae.
As for upcoming films, Lee Kwang Soo has back-to-back films in 2022, starting with "The Pirates: Goblin Flag," followed by "The Sound of Your Heart," "Happy New Year" and "Gwanghwamun Jealousy Fight."
On the other hand, the actor recently dropped out from the longtime running variety show "Running Man" due to health issues.
Lee Kwang Soo bid his farewell to his co-stars and viewers in June to focus on his health.
In a statement, the actor says that he had been "steadily undergoing rehabilitation treatment" due to the injuries brought by the car accident in February 2020.
