"Misaeng: Incomplete Life" is a drama that made Im Siwan a breakout star.
"Misaeng" tells the story of Jang Geu Rae. Playing the board game go was everything to him, but he failed to become a professional player.
He decides to start anew by working in a large trading company as an intern. Even though he has no college degree and only has a high school certificate, Jang Geu Rae strives hard to deal with all the challenges in work.
Im Siwan's outstanding performance in the series was heavily lauded, and he even won awards for his excellent acting.
The King In Love
Im Siwan starred in MBC's romance series "The King In Love" as Crown Prince Wang Won, alongside SNSD member and actress Im YoonA and Hong Jong Hyun.

The idol-actor played his role well, his strong and powerful emotions immediately captivated the viewers, and his chemistry with Shin Se Kyung was loved by many. Im Siwan also lent his voice for the drama's OST.
Tracer
After "Run On," Im Siwan will have his small-screen return with "Tracer." He takes the role of Hwang Dong Ju, the chief of taxation division 5 at the National Tax Service. His mission is to trace money hidden from the tax service.
The 33-year-old actor will work with Ko Ah Sung, Son Hyun Joo, Park Yong Woo, and Chu Sang Mi in "Tracer," which is slated to premiere anytime soon this December.
