Byun Woo Seok On His New Historical Drama With Girl's Day Hyeri and Yoo Seung Ho
Known for his tall and lean physique, gorgeous face, and incredible acting skills, the 31-year-old Byun Woo Seok was cast as the charismatic crown prince Lee Pyo in the forthcoming historical romance drama "When Flowers Bloom, I Think of the Moon."
Set in the Joseon era when alcohol prohibition laws were at its peak, the drama follows the story of a struggling aristocrat Kang Ro Seo, played by Girl's Day Hyeri, who brews liquor illegally to survive, and a principled royal inspector Nam Young, played by Yoo Seung Ho.
In the drama, Byun Woo Seok takes on the role of the good-looking crown prince who's skilled at martial arts and fine arts. However, he is quite mischievous, and his love for alcohol, despite the prohibitions, is undying.
The actor was then asked about his reasons for choosing the drama. Byun Woo Seok said, "That time, I finished the drama "Record of Youth" and wrapped up the filming for my movie "Soul Mate." But I wanted to do a new project quickly. That was when the drama came to me, I was extremely excited."

Byun Woo Seok showed his passionate side as an actor as he boasted his new long hairstyle that he grew out of for the first time for his new historical drama.
In addition to that, he displayed his amazing acting prowess in popular hit dramas "Search: WWW" and "Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency."
Byun Woo Seok Dishes Out Future Career Plans
Unlike other actors, Byun Woo Seok is one of the few who started his career late. When the actor was asked about his pillar of support, the actor shared, "I think the only thing I could rely on was basically my experiences."
"Every project I appear in is a great opportunity for me to become a better actor. It is a process that I'm willing to go through. My previous works, as well as my future ones, are all valuable," the actor continued, showing his passion in his career.
Byun Woo Seok, apart from his upcoming historical romantic drama, is also cast for a forthcoming Netflix film alongside "Lovers of the Red Sky" actress Kim Yoo Jung.
