JTBC unveiled the cast lineup for the highly- anticipated Kdrama "Snowdrop" starring BLACKPINK Jisoo and Jung Hae In.
In just a few weeks, fans would get to see the much-awaited team of the "D.P" actor and the Kpop star together with a roster of talented stars.
'Snowdrop' Introduces the Complete Cast of JTBC's Upcoming Series
Amid the enticing still cuts and trailers featuring the lead stars, JTBC dropped the latest poster featuring the complete "Snowdrop" cast.
The black and white teaser surely captivated the viewers' attention with its melancholic visuals, stimulating the fans' curiosity about the forthcoming series.
Apart from Jung Hae In and the BLACKPINK member, the group poster also welcomes Jang Seung Jo, who took on the role of National Security Planning Agency's investigation team head, Lee Kang Moo.
The teaser also includes Yoo In Ah, who is set to play Kang Chung Ya, the top-notch surgeon at a state-run hospital.
Joining the cast are Jung Yoo Jin as National Security Planning Agency agent Jang Han Na, Kim Hye Yoon as Kye Boon Ok, "Sky Castle" star Yoon Se Ah as Pi Seung Hee, Heo Joon Ho as Eun Chang Soo, Kim Jung Nan as Hong Ae Ra, Kim Min Kyu as Joo Gyeok Chan, Kim Jung Nan and Heo Joon Ho as Jisoo's parents, Park Sung Woong as Nam Tae Il and more.
"Snowdrop" release date is scheduled to hit the small screen on December 18 and will be the newest Saturday and Sunday Kdrama.
The upcoming melodrama is helmed by the "Sky Castle" director Jo Hyun Taek alongside Yoo Hyun Mi, who also wrote the mega-hit makjang series.
In the drama, BLACKPINK Jisoo will show her diversity as an actress, playing the role of university student Eun Young Ro.
"Snowdrop" will be her first-ever lead character after cementing her name in the music industry.
On the other hand, her leading man, Jung Hae In, will portray the charming Im Soo Ho, who grew up in Germany but returns to his homeland at the height of South Korea's chaotic era.
According to an outlet, the production team hints at the lead stars' impressive on-screen chemistry with a dash of "tension and excitement" that would definitely keep the fans at the edge of their seats.
"With their shining teamwork, the two actors Jung Hae In and Jisoo fully portrayed the scene that contains both tension and excitement," a representative noted, adding that the upcoming JTBC series will highlight Jung Hae In and BLACKPINK Jisoo's "budding romance" amid the "whirlwind of events that come at them."

The broadcast network entices fans with the behind-the-scenes at 'Snowdrop' script reading attended by the whole cast and production representatives.
The "Prison Playbook" star described his character as someone who "gets swept up in a whirlwind of events as the story progresses."
Moreover, he also expressed his gratitude towards the senior actors who made the table read "very comfortably and enjoyably."
The same goes for the singer-actress, who mentioned that everyone treated her comfortably and showed her support through the event.
