Jeon Jong Seo's agency, My Company, confirmed that the actress is dating director Lee Chung Hyeon.
According to media outlets, the management revealed that the actress met her now-boyfriend while filming the 2020 Netflix movie "The Call," which the 31-year-old filmmaker directed.
In addition, My Company also noted that the duo has recently started dating, saying that the actress and director "had good feelings" towards each other, "but recently developed into lovers."
Who is Jeon Jong Seo's Boyfriend, Lee Chung Hyun?
Apart from his blockbuster movie "The Call" starring Jeon Jong Seo and Park Shin Hye, Lee Chung Hyun is also the screenwriter and director for the 2015 horror film "Bargain" and the romance fantasy short film "Heart Attack" which was released in 2020.
According to the Korean Film Organization, the 30-year-old director started creating short films back in high school and even won a few contests.
Lee Chung Hyun focused on media communication in college and took journalism as his major.
After graduating, he first worked at an advertising agency.
Interestingly, he once again tried his luck in films and movies and had the 2015 short film "Bargain" as his stepping stone in the industry.
His claim to fame is the blockbuster movie "The Call," where Jeon Jong Seo won the Best Actress for Film Category at the Baeksang Arts Awards.
The thriller film was also nominated for the 2021 BaekSang Arts Awards New Film Director, Best Leading Actress, Asian Film Awards for Best Actress, and more.
Jeon Jong Seo's Movie 'Nothing Serious'
Amid the dating announcement, Jeon Jong Seo recently launched her new movie "Nothing Serious" with Son Seok Koo.
Premiered on November 24, the romance drama follows the story of a 33-year-old bachelor who works as a rookie reporter and is also a sex columnist writer.

Apart from this, the Baeksang Arts winner is also one of the lead stars in the much anticipated Korean remake of "Money Heist."
Set to be released in 2022, the cast includes "Squid Game" star Park Hae Soo as Berlin, Yoo Ji Tae as The Professor and Lee Won Jong as Moscow.
The counterfeit expert Nairobi will be played by Jang Yoon Joo, while Kim Ji Hoon will be the hot-headed Denver.
Joining the casts are Kim Ji Hoon and Lee Kyu Ho as cousins Helsinki and Oslo, while Park Jung Woo took on the role of newcomer Rio.
