The multi-hyphenated star shared his honest thoughts about the series reigning the chart as the most-watched Netflix show.

He is looking forward to seeing it ranked first place "for a long time" but mentioned he doesn't really know "how to handle the title of No. 1 in the world yet."

However, he shared that he is happy with the current standing of "Hellbound" and gaining attention globally.

"I just want to follow the flow naturally. Syndrome and first place are not phenomena that occur every day. However, I am very happy and glad that our works can be introduced worldwide through this platform. The interpretation and evaluation of the work are intensifying, and it seems very positive and encouraging for an actor to get more feedback from global audiences," he added.

In addition, the award-winning celebrity expressed his conclusion on why the mystery horror series received an overwhelming response from the viewers.

Yoo Ah In mentioned during the interview that "Hellbound" has the right mix of entertainment "for everyone to enjoy" and at the same time piquing the audience's curiosity with its surprising twists and turns.

The actor also added that "Hellbound" highlights the "concept of heaven and hell that everyone can relate to."

Helmed by the "Train to Busan" director Yeon Sang Ho and based on his webcomic of the same name, the mystery horror series features the supernatural phenomena that occurred on Earth, causing major chaos among the people.

Aside from Yoo Ah In, the "Hellbound" cast includes Kim Hyun Joo as lawyer Min Hye Jin, who doubts The New Truth group and its leader.

Joining the cast is Yang Ik Jun, who took on the role of detective Jin Kyung Hoon.
