Korean drama "Be Melodramatic" will have a webtoon version soon!
On December 8, it was confirmed that JTBC's hit series "Be Melodramatic" that aired in 2019 would be produced as a webtoon.
"Be Melodramatic" is a comic series that tells the worries, relationships, and daily lives of three women in their thirties played by Chun Won Hee, Jeon Yeo Bin, and Han Ji Eun. Viewers loved it because of its concept and interesting lines that remained iconic to the audience.
The script was written by Lee Byung Hun and Kim Young Young, and directing was in charge by Lee Byung Hun and Kim Hye Young. "Be Melodramatic" has been steadily talked about as a life drama for many and continues to be popular to wider audiences around the world through various online streaming platforms.
And now will reach new audiences as it is confirmed to be adapted into a webtoon that can be read by younger generations.
After "Be Melodramatic" its stars started to gain recognition and now part of the brightest actresses in the entertainment. Jeon Yeo Bin successfully rose to stardom after she led tvN's crime-comedy drama "Vincenzo" with Song Joong Ki and the mystery-crime movie "Night in Paradise." Yeo Bin also bagged major awards for her amazing performances.
Han Ji Eun appeared in various series such as "Kkondae Intern," Lovestruck in the City," "My Roommate is a Gumiho," "The Witch's Diner," and is set to join Lee Dong Wook and Wi Ha Joon in the upcoming drama "Bad and Crazy."
Meanwhile, Chun Woo Hee focused on doing movies such as "Vertigo," "A Little Princess," "Waiting for Rain," and "Stolen Identity."

K-Dramas 'Fight for My Way,' 'Healer,' and 'Signal' to Be Produced as Webtoon Too
This 2021, apart from "Be Melodramatic" there were also other Korea series that was announced earlier to have webtoon adaptation.
In May, Park Seo Joon and Kim Ji Won's romantic-comedy-drama "Fight for My Way" that met the viewers in 2017 was the first to be released in the webtoon. A month later, Ji Chang Wook and Park Min Young's action-romance drama "Healer" was the second famous show adapted into a webtoon.
In September, another masterpiece joined the circle and is expected to see the viewers in a different format, tvN's mystery drama "Signal" that stars Lee Je Hoon, Kim Hye Soo, and Jo Jin Woong.
Meanwhile, Park Bo Young and Kim Young Kwang's megahit romance movie "On Your Wedding Day" also gears up for a webtoon version.
