"Squid Game" cast members immediately skyrocketed their fame after the K-series was released.

Oh Young Soo, who usually plays minor roles in several shows, became a global star overnight.

In his previous interview, he revealed that he had an influx of offers after starring in the Netflix series but chose to stay humble and had to reject commercial bids, specifically a chicken franchise.

He explained why he politely said no to the offer and said, "He said, "'Kanbu' is a word that is close to the theme of 'squid game.' However, I was concerned that if I mentioned this kanbu directly in the advertisement, the meaning of the scenes I acted in the work would be blurred," the veteran actor said, referring to the heartbreaking scene of him and Lee Jung Jae's role, Seong Gi Hoon.
