Previously, Kook Yeon Soo (Kim Da Mi) and Choi Woong (Choi Woo Sik) agreed to film another documentary together if Woong grants Yeon Soo's favor to work with her and her company.
However, things get awry after Yeon Soo's company also invites another illustrator who happens to be Woong's rival.
'Our Beloved Summer' Episode 5: Kook Yeon Soo Apologizes To Choi Woong
After what happened at the party, Yeon Soo and Woong were left alone to process their own thoughts and feelings about the matter.
One thing that Woong taught Yeon Soo over the course of their relationship is being empathetic and owning up to one's mistakes.
Even though Yeon Soo is highly intelligent, she sometimes lacks empathy, therefore unintentionally hurting her then-boyfriend Woong.
Because they spent years of love together, Yeon Soo picked up the habit of properly apologizing to someone. However, because of what happened at the party, the tension and the awkwardness surrounding them, she finds it difficult to do so.

A Brief Sneak Peek To Kim Ji Woong's Musings
Growing up sharing the same name with Woong, Ji Woong has always felt jealous over the latter-from the perfect family he doesn't have, to the affection he longs to feel up to the happiness he thinks Woong constantly feels.
However, he couldn't bring himself to hate Woong. All his life, he only had one friend he trusts the most. Woong has been, and still is, Ji Woong's best friend.
Because he feels grateful for Woong and his family, who have been nothing but good to him, Ji Woong sets his feelings aside when the two of them take a huge interest in the same girl-Kook Yeon Soo.
Up until now, from being naive high school students to career driven adults, Ji Woong bottled up his feelings for Yeon Soo to make way for his best friend and brother.
Kook Yeon Soo and Choi Woong Let Their Guards Down
Despite their misunderstandings, Woong still agreed to do the drawing show for Yeon Soo's company, even having to cooperate with his biggest rival.
Woong proposed to work for 100 hours, with only small moments of break for sleeping and eating. For five days, Woong continued to draw the Soen Shop architecture.
A day before the Soen Shop's grand opening, Yeon Soo feels anxious not only about the launch, but also because of Woong.
With her resolve crumbling down, she prepares jujube tea and goes straight to Woong's house in the middle of the night to check up on him.
