tvN officially announced the lead stars for the upcoming Kdrama "Little Women."
After months of discussion, Kim Go Eun, Nam Ji Hyun, and Park Ji Hoo have finally agreed to headline the highly anticipated series alongside "Squid Game" star Wi Ha Joon as the lead actor.
The trio's synergy will surely stimulate the fans' curiosity towards their roles and connection with each other.
'Little Women' Main Characters
Helmed by the "Fated to Love You" and "Vincenzo" director Kim Hee Won and penned by "The Handmaiden" screenwriter Jung Seo Kyung, the forthcoming drama depicts the lives of three sisters who grew up poor yet have a blissful life.
Unfortunately, one of the challenges they have to face is standing against the most influential family in South Korea.
In the upcoming Kdrama "Little Women," Kim Go Eun portrays the firstborn, Oh In Joo. Being the eldest among her siblings, she will act as their protector.
The second daughter, Oh In Kyung, will be played by Nam Ji Hyun, a reporter who will soon uncover the town's deep secret.
Lastly, the youngest from the sibling is Park Ji Hoo, who took on the role of Oh In Hye.
Due to her skills in drawing, she got accepted to one of the country's prestigious art schools.
On the other hand, the production team hints about the flow of the story and the chemistry of the three lead stars.
"The lives of three sisters are intertwined in a single event, providing a different kind of fun. The story of three sisters who find the direction of their lives in the face of enormous power will be drawn in an intense and interesting way." a representative noted.
"Little Women" reportedly will begin production in the first quarter of 2022 and slated to air in the same year.

Kim Go Eun, Nam Ji Hyun and Park Ji Hoo's Upcoming Projects
"Little Women" will be Kim Go Eun's next Kdrama after the highly anticipated sequel of "Yumi's Cells."
According to outlets, the second season has begun production; however, the release date has yet to be confirmed.
In "Yumi's Cells" 2, the story will focus on her connection with officemate Yoo Babi, played by GOT7's Jinyoung.
Aside from this, Kim Go Eun will reportedly star in a new historical musical film, "Hero" with Jung Sung Hwa, Bae Jung Nam and more.
2022 will be quite a fruitful year for Park Ji Hoo as she is set to headline a Netflix series "All of Us are Dead," alongside Park Solomon, Yoon Chan Young, "Racket Boys" actor Son Sang Yeon and Cho Yi Hyun from "School 2021."
Interestingly, she will also appear as a supporting actor in Park Bo Young, Lee Byung Hoon and Park Seo Joon's upcoming movie "Concrete Utopia."
On the other hand, "Little Women" is Nam Ji Hyun's drama after starring in the hit series "The Witch's Diner," where she took the role of Jung Jin, the restaurant owner.
