In the teaser, Son Ye Jin exudes class and sophistication as she takes the role of Cha Mi Jo, director of a high-end dermatological clinic in Gangnam.
Amid her intimidating aura, status and almost perfect life, she still thinks something is missing.
Meanwhile, her best friend Jung Chan Young, played by the "Hospital Playlist" star, has a different take on life.

"Thirty-Nine" will be her first lead role outside the beloved medical Kdrama "Hospital Playlist."
Completing the lead star is Kim Ji Hyun, who is set to portray department store cosmetics manager Jang Joo Hee. She is said to be the introvert of the group and because of that, it was hard for her to go on a date and experience romance.
Will turning 40 help Jang Joo Hee go out of her comfort zone and welcome relationships?
Apart from the teasers, "Thirty-Nine" is set to hit the small screen in February 2022 and will air after "Artificial City."
Lee Moo Saeng, Yeon Woo Jin, and Lee Tae Hwan Joins 'Thirty-Nine'
JTBC officially announced that Lee Moo Saeng, Yeon Woo Jin, and Lee Tae Hwan will join the trio in "Thirty-Nine."

Meanwhile, Lee Moo Saeng will play Camp Entertainment CEO Kim Ji Seok and Cha Mi Jo's former classmate. After she introduced him to her friend, Jung Chan Young, Kim Ji Seok fell utterly head over heels with her.
Lastly, Lee Tae Hwan is set to portray 35-year-old chef Park Hyun Joon and will act opposite Kim Ji Hyun, who turned out to be her regular customer.
Viewers will surely be entertained with their stories revolving around career, friendship and love.
