Famous Japanese series "Sleepeeer Hit" to have a Korean adaptation and Na In Woo and Kim Sejeong are the potential actors to lead the drama.

Korean Remake of 'Sleepeeer Hit' to Possibly Have Na In Woo and Kim Sejeong as Lead Stars

Korean media insiders revealed on December 29 that the "River Where the Moon Rises" actor was cast to lead the project. In response to the news, Na In Woo's agency Cube Entertainment confirmed that the actor received the drama offer and is considering the role for "Today's Webtoon."

"Today's Webtoon" is the upcoming Korean remake of the popular Japanese drama "Sleepeeer Hit" in 2016 that tells the story of a former female judo player who is struggling to become a true webtoon editor. Fortunately, she got a job in the webtoon editing department but lots of challenges are about to come along her way.

Once Na In Woo accepts the offer, he is expected to play the male lead role, which was portrayed by Japanese actor Sakaguchi Kentaro in the original series. He works as a salesman who is supportive of On Ma Eum in everything she does. They start to become friends who support each other while busy focusing on their chosen careers.

In addition, "Today's Webtoon" will also show the competitive career industry in South Korea.

Na In Woo and Kim Sejeong's Upcoming Projects

In April, idol-actress Kim Sejeong is reported to lead the drama and play the character of On Ma Eum. But nothing is confirmed yet for she is currently filming her new romance comedy series "The Office Blind Date" alongside Ahn Hyo Seop. The female star is also preparing to film the "Uncanny Counter" season 2.

Furthermore, once the casting has been finalized, "Today's Webtoon" will start its production and is scheduled to premiere in 2022 on SBS.

Meanwhile, following the success of his historical dramas "Mr.Queen" and "River Where the Moon Rises," Na In Woo is already booked for more projects such as "Her Bucket List" with former I.O.I member and actress Kim So Hye, and forthcoming series "The Jinx's Lover" with SNSD's Seohyun.

The young actor is also one of the candidates that the netizens voted to be part of the upcoming remake of the classic hit K-drama "Princess Hours."

Na In Woo rose to fame after his magnificent portrayal in tvN's smashing hit romantic-comedy series "Mr.Queen."
